It's not Operating at 100% yet

When the train is ready to run between Okokomaiko and Marina, the one using Electricity will be ready by then.

The most important thing right now is that Lagosians are now making use of it

Electricity is not stable and our politicians are busy embarking on projects that would solely depend on power supply.

Is that not a dividend of democrāzy? grin

The rail electrification is ongoing . LAMATA had explained all this when the train would commence full electric operations. Don't rubbish what is beyond your knowledge. Lazy youth . Everyone is free to come see with their eyes how the electrification is being carried out.

Electricity? Really? In Nigeria?

The Lagos State Government is actually building an 18MW IPP that will ensure zero power interruption and withstand the electricity demand of the train.

Are thieves restricted to a particular geographic location?
You are basically implying that those who stole from the second Niger bridge are Igbo and anyone who steal from the Lagos rail must be Yoruba, is that what you are saying?
Why was it necessary to use the second Niger bridge as your example? You know the second Niger bridge is located in an area dominated by a certain ethnic group and your choice of the bridge shows your mischievous intention.

Funny enough, after that 4wks probability of it still running might be slim with the current situation of light in certain parts of the state. I won't even be surprised if one day people get stuck due to power failure.

Lagos State governor Sanwo-Olu commissioned the blue line in December, but it couldn’t start operations because a facility to power the tracks wasn’t ready.

The metro will now use a diesel locomotive for some weeks until the power plant is ready to connect to the tracks.

According to John Ashbourne, an African analyst, while quoting a video of the train being pulled, he wrote;

Forget that scam
No be Balulaba governor again? All na wash.

Shameless people.

Whose principal job is to criminally remove iron placed across people’s gutters to enable cars drive across; who invade mechanic workshops and residences in search of what to steal; who go around with sacks to steal whole generators? Where have you placed them? Abi you forget because na your people?
