charlesemeka85:True I remember when the yeye guy beat us at Senegal 92, his goal and i think his corner kick assist sent us out in the semi final. That was Ghana's chance to win the nation's cup a 5th time, they also had Tony Yeboah (fantastic striker) and Baffor as their defender. That AFCON that year sweet die!! |

charlesemeka85:Actually I knew him when he was at Manchester United, he was good but not excellent. But which coach knowing the influence his father has is going to drop his son. It's better you have CR7 as a friend as opposed to an enemy, if you want your small coaching career to progress. The numbers of academy coaches who moved into the big clubs because a big player appreciated the way the coach treated and coached their son. The top player of today is going to be the top manager for tomorrow , IF HE IS WHITE, that's a certainty. |

Kog45:Kevin Campbell sons - Manchester city Wayne Rooney - Son Manchester United Steven Gerard Son - Liverpool FC Duncan' Ferguson son - Everton Chris Samba son - Manchester city Peter Ceck - Chelsea The list is literally endless with regards to UK 🇬🇧 footballers. However, with regards to Nigeria I don't know any Most of these players are not talented but years of training will give them ability, intelligence, skill, and a decent professional career in football ⚽ without any EXCEPTIONAL TALENT. |

Chelsea reportedly made an enquiry about signing Nigeria international Taiwo Awoniyi few days before the close of the summer transfer window. According to The Athletic UK (subscription required), the Blues contacted Nottingham Forest to ask about the possibility of signing Awoniyi in the final 48 hours hours of the summer transfer window. Nottingham Forest did not want to do business with Chelsea so late n the window and turned down their approach. Chelsea strengthened their forward line with the signings of Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson from RB Leipzig and Villarreal respectively in the summer transfer window but the Frenchman is among the players in the treatment room. Assuming Taiwo Awoniyi's deal went through, the 2013 Fifa U17 World Cup winner would have provided much-needed cover in that position. The Nigeria national teamer was arguably the most in-form player in the Premier League last month, having netted in each of his first three games for Nottingham Forest, taking his streak dating back to last season to seven consecutive Premier League matches. Awoniyi is the third African player to find the net in seven consecutive Premier League matches, after Mohamed Salah and Emmanuel Adebayor. Signed from Union Berlin in the summer of 2022, the Liverpool-reared striker has a contract with Nottingham Forest until June 30, 2027. |
