It was actually a very stupid argument. But honestly I strongly believe Peter obi won majority of votes cast in the last election. The issue is he had no structure and relied heavily on the integrity of INEC.

The election is based on LAWS and not what you believe.

Tell us the NUMBER of votes received by the Labour Party that put it ahead of all other polity parties.

Your strong believe is based on what exactly? your feelings or hard evidence?

I'm glad you acknowledge that the constitution says 25% of states AND Abuja.

It does not say 25% of states OR Abuja.

By using "AND", the Constitution made it mandatory that a successful candidate must also win 25% of the votes in Abuja.

AntiWailer:

You still have not explained beyond reasonable doubt how Abuja people are so special that we will need 25% of their vote to validate the votes other 36 states already voted.

The 25% of states and FCT we explained taya but you guys chose to chase shadows.

There has been several judgements that made it clear that there is nothing special about Abuja.

Abuja does not need a Governor because that is the current seat of power.

Open to plenty interpretation

The constitution did not say 25% States and 25% Abuja.

States and Abuja is because officially we have 36 states you cant say 25% 37 States,

It is the same as 25% Orange and Apple.

It is different from 25% Orange and 25% Apple. It can be rightly interpreted as 25% fruits. Especially where another part of the constitution rightly stated that No big deal with Apple. it is just like other fruits.

The constitution said in section 299..
The provisions of this Constitution shall apply to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja as if it were one of the States of the Federation; and accordingly -

(a) all the legislative powers, the executive powers and the judicial powers vested in the House of Assembly, the Governor of a State and in the courts of a State shall, respectively, vest in the National Assembly, the President of the Federation and in the courts which by virtue of the foregoing provisions are courts established for the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja;

(b) all the powers referred to in paragraph (a) of this section shall be exercised in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution; and

(c) the provisions of this Constitution pertaining to the matters aforesaid shall be read with such modifications and adaptations as may be reasonably necessary to bring them into conformity with the provisions of this section.

Section 299 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
More: https://jurist.ng/constitution/sec-299

In section 1
There shall be 36 states... And it named them..

The constitution doesn’t care about your feelings bros it is what it is. You don’t want Abuja to be special then amend the constitution but as it is like this it says you must get 25% in FCT

Apparently you did not read the judgement and you don't know the constitution you are quoting.

For clarity, Section 299 of the Constitution provides: “The provisions of this Constitution shall apply to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja as if it were one of the states of the Federation; and accordingly- (a) all the legislative powers, the executive powers and the judicial powers vested in the House of Assembly, the Governor of a State and in the courts of a State shall, respectively, vest in the National Assembly, the President of the Federation and in the courts which by virtue of the foregoing provisions are courts established for the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja;

Peter Obi call your Neo-Nazi Lynch Mob off the Judges !!

A third place loser cannot intimidate Judges into giving him the Presidency of this great Mation

Let us explain things to your Supporters gently may be they will Understand better

Ok

same way you voted for Peter Obi is the same way others voted for Tinubu and Atiku

Peter Obi failed to get 25 % in any Sharia Muslim States so that alone is already 12 States lost
plus the 5 SW States where he failed to get 25 % that is already 17 States lost where he didn't get the mandatory 25% National Spread.
We haven't yet added Kogi ,Kwara and others o !
Peter Obi lost!!

Even if you want to very stubbornly argue that the 5 SW States results were rigged and exclude them
( But in that case the APC will also argue for the SE results to be excluded too for the very same reason)

Then include only the 12 Sharia Muslim States where Peter Obi failed to get 25% and add Kwara and Kogi State too
That is already a total of 14 States,
Peter Obi could not afford to have 25% in less than 24 states without loosing

Peter Obi still lost the Elections!!!!!

Peter Obi call your Lynch Mob off the Judges!!

We are talking judgement. Let us stick to it.

We are not talking what is good.

We are not talking what is right.

We are talking about the Law

I agree 100% with U.

The law is.

There are too many loop holes to be able to get Justice on the surface.

U will see several part of the constitution unlocking another parts.

You’re funny bros and maybe you need to take English classes again. “As if it were” means IT’s not but for the purpose of administration, let’s pretend it is.
Don’t twist the constitution because it favors your candidate now. Sooner or later in future what you people seek to destroy now for one man will back to bite you in the ass.
