It's great, but it is missing two things: planted trees and pavement over the gutters. These are essential and should be a staple of road construction. Kudos to them for including street lights. You can see that woman walking on the main road. That's a big NO. It is dangerous 2 Likes |

chubinwa: This is a good road. But I have issue with Nigerian road construction in general. When building things, we need to account for practicality rather than just building for the sake of building. This road is missing a pavement. Why? Also, it needs trees. Trees are essential to increase happiness and also filter oxygen. 1 Like |

tobstarizhia: I HONESTLY DON'T KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE. WHAT A SHODDY, SUBSTANDARD AND PRIMITIVE ROAD. What is a blasted OPEN GUTTER doing on a brand new road? WHY is that poor woman having to walk ON THE ROAD? WHERE IS THE PEDESTRIAN SIDEWALK? ARE THESE PEOPLE IMBECILES? I'M SICK OF SEEING THESE DISGUSTING RUBBISH THEY CALL ROADS IN NIGERIA This is RWANDA, not London. RWANDA that is still recovering from genocide and civil war. What is so hard about building your roads like this? 1 Like |

Seefinish: You people are disgusting hypocritical thing. You igbos always and every time criticize anything government is doing in the south west. You never see anything good in it other than wailing, crying and behaving like animals anytime you Igbos see anything developmental progress in south west however when such is replicated to you guys, you will start barking like a possed dog. Truly you people cannot take 1/4 of what nonsense you do to others |

Quintessence44: Seriously, I want to know what is being taught to civil engineers and urban and regional planners in Nigerian universities. They are the absolute worst. As an example, there is a neighborhood in my locality where the main express is built with cobblestone bricks while the inner streets are built with asphalt bitumen. Downright distasteful. Most of them are not qualified to build roads. It's not for lack of fund, it's for lack of actual expertise. Most people simply copy and paste some already shoddy work and recreate same shoddy work. They do not understand how to build roads for a neighborhood, much less one that is attractive. 1 Like |
