For the past few weeks, we have been on the subject of prayers, an important aspect of the believer. God hears all we say, just like man-made bug can transmit conversations in your bedroom, to an eavesdropper, thousands of miles away, just like a mobile phone can send your voice to somebody in another continent. God no doubt, due to omnipotence and omnipresence abilities can hear all. The real question is does he answer all? As bitter as this may seem the answer is No. God may answer some specific prayers to show you he is real and in an attempt to led you to him [Remember God loves all and God is love] but, claiming the prayers for your relative who was sick made him well can be disputed because others who are no christian also get well. Real and prayers that God answers are these: one, you are washed in the blood of the lamb- you are memebr of the community of faith, called royal priesthood, see 1 Peter 2:9, But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: and Two, if your prayer is a cry of repentance or a prayer for others to be saved. Many are praying amiss today, see James 4:3, Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. This kind of prayer is the weekest form of prayer; like i wrote sequel to this article, the best prayers are prayers of repentance, for God looks forward to receive them for God is love and the other, is interceding for others to repent for God wants the ‘saved’, to stand in the gap for others to be saved too. The bible says in the book of Matthew 5:15, Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. If you have seen the goodness of God as expressed through his son, jesus you want others to know God, too. There some prayers that are nothing but abomination before God! see Proverbs 28:9,He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

Remember, in the bible Abba, meaning daddy is the exclusive reserved for those members of a family. Galatians 4:6, And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. be part of this family today!

YES! According to Jesus of Nazareth God takes good care of both the righteous and the wicked {Matthew 5:45} because we are all His children! Genesis 1:26
The only difference between the wicked and the righteous is doing God's will while the wicked may have their prayers answered feeling they're in a relationship with God they will miss the most important thing which is the doing of God's will! Matthew 7:21-23
Jesus promised that when two or three are gathered in his name (thinking about how to do what he commanded) he will chairman such a gathering {Matthew 18:20} leading them in doing God's will.
That's the blessing exclusive only to believers that's why it's very very important to find out the gathering of those doing God's will and not just where prayers are answered because God opens His hands to satisfy the desires of all people! Psalms 145:16

1. I am afraid this is wrong. God Himself said He absolutely does not answer the prayers of the unrighteous.

You see, Scripture states that God does not answer the prayers of the unrighteous; the pleas and requests and every petition, praise, offering, work, plea, sacrifice, etc., of the unrighteous are tainted by their sins(disobedience/unholiness) and are hence an abomination to God. So, what is definite is that even your many pleas for the forgiveness of sins are not answered by God given that God made no special exemptions for that kind of plea. No amount of praying can cause God to change His mind regarding that which concerns the unrighteous by the way. So if you are thinking of prescribing more prayers that only means you really don't understand or know God at all.

God, however, openly bragged about how He only answers the prayers of the righteous; He delights in granting them the desires of their heart meaning that they are those who he loves. For this very reason, Jesus Christ urged His followers to seek first the Kingdom of God and God's Righteousness in order that all things— the blessings and rewards of the Kingdom of God(holiness), answers to prayers included—shall be added on to them. As Jesus Christ explained in His Gospel, the only way to become Holy, and then also Righteous, is by way of continuous submission and obedience to the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, god's Truth and Law in the Kingdom of god - John 8 vs 31 - 36 & John 14 vs 15 - 23. Jesus Christ is the only way. Obedience to the Truth of God is the one and only path to righteousness. No amount of praying and other religious rituals can accomplish that.

God deals indirectly with the unrighteous, the same way He deals with the unbelievers including the wicked and the ungrateful and that is by pouring out His mercy and kindness on them daily. So every time as an unrighteous you feel that God has answered your prayer know that at that same moment, or moments before that, God also provided the same mercy or similar to someone else across the world — or maybe just across from you— who does not even believe in God, nor asked God for anything. So, if answers from God are what you seek, then do what Jesus Christ said you should, which is to seek first the Kingdom of God(holiness), and then God's righteousness, in order that all these things —the blessings and rewards of the Kingdom of God(including answers to prayers) can be added to you.


2. You need to understand the meaning of the word "amiss" in order to realize what James was instead trying to tell you in that verse that you pulled from his epistle. If you consult Webster's dictionary, you will find that the word means to be in an imperfect state, a state that is not in the right order aka unrighteous.

Amiss
1. : not being in accordance with the right order. : faulty, imperfect.

What James was saying in that verse is that the reason you do not receive from God is that you are asking in an unrighteous state—a state that is not in accordance with God's mandate of righteousness. Basically, to ask amiss means to ask while existing in an unright/unrighteous state.

So, clearly, you cannot benefit anything directly from God as long as you remain in an unrighteous state. That is what God said, and James reiterated in that verse there.

Jesus made us understand that God is good to both the righteous and the wicked regarding needs {Matthew 5:45} but when it comes to doing God's will that's when wicked people are left out, Jesus said they will say their prayers were answered yet he will condemn them because they never did God's will. Matthew 7:21-23

So find out the GROUP that's doing God's will so that you can join them or continue deceiving yourself!
