The Parliamentary Election Petitions Tribunal has invalidated the election of Thaddeus Attah of the Labour Party as the winner of the House of Representatives vote in the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency.

In its ruling on Monday, the tribunal also directed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a supplementary election in 32 polling units within the next 90 days.

The decision aligned with the claims made by Bankole Wellington, also known as Banky W, of the Peoples Democratic Party and Babajide Obanikoro of the All Progressives Congress, asserting that elections did not take place in approximately 40 polling units.

It was all smiles at the tribunal court when it was confirmed that there would be a supplementary election in several polling units under the Eti-osa Federal constituency where the election did not take place.
I believe that our justice system is on the right track and I praise the judges for this ruling which adheres to the components of the Constitution.

I am here to clarify that I was not sacked. The Tribunal has simply ordered a re-run (supplementary election) in the 32 polling units where elections did not hold. We will continue working for Etiosa.

No be APC thugs disrupted voting in those polling booths? Infact the APC should not be allowed to contest in the rereun sef.

It should be between Labour and other political parties. Dude should appeal the judgement and if a rerun should happen the APC who caused non voting in those polling booths should be removed from any new election because if a rerun with them happens as this is what they want. The judiciary which is known to be the last hope of the common man is now known as the "best hope of the ruling party".

They were called upon to investigate electoral fraud but instead, they are removing duly elected opposition party members and replacing them with that of the ruling party which must have greased their palms with currency.
