I remember in 2018 /19 some youth were ready to hold a protest against the arrest of Naira, #FreeNaira was trending on TwitterNG, some even said the Govt is oppressing the Youths etc

The Govt warned us about him back then but y'all chose not to listen... I just pray everyone involved in the death of that boy face the wrath of the law.

I am yet to see any positive influence by naira Marley. He's a bad influence on our youths and must be tamed. RIP marlian music
It is said, there is nothing like bad publicity.

Big butt, better than masters degree. Hate the statement, disagree with it but in the current day Nigeria context, it has eliments of truth. Controversial as it may seem.
Naira Mali is an entertainer, not all entertainers are expected to song church or moralistic music. You will have "2 live crews", of which he is the Nigerian equivalent. Nasty but appealing.

No, sorry for the mix-up.

There's a fellow here who made life so miserable for me and my family for almost two years, trying to harm me because I have a thread on Yoruba Hebrew history.

He got my details from my marketing efforts here on this platform and connected with me through an agent. This agent promised to take me overseas for spice business.

I got to know he's the one behind the scenes a year after when he boasted he knew my whereabouts and has gotten all my details from my trying to market myself.

I just did a retrospective check and found out it's this guy that sent me an offer to travel overseas through a syndicate. He exposed himself thinking I am plotting to harm him.

The syndicate got my product and reported back to him, then they infiltrate my business with their men who comes as returning customers, and I began to connect with them.

But the moment I had the inclinations, I began to make drastic changes and with the help of God, I could see how close to death I have been, I have to suspend my business.

I created the thread below after valid inclinations that I am being set up, and unknown to me, it's just the beginning of a long story.

That was when strangers began to make extremely frantic calls for my products beyond the normal reach of my efforts. And going by years of experience, I know danger when I sense one.

With the help of God, I waded through the evil days till, but I lost my business model that has taken me thus far. I stand to gain nothing rather than put myself in harm's way blackmailing a wicked person.

Rather, I'm fighting for my life.

Remember when he was propagating his Malian demons all over the country. I was overwhelmed
when secondary school boys stopped wearing belts to school and girls going to school without underwear all in the name of being a malian.... their slogan then was: We are Malians... We got no manners!

He made so many parents to lose their children to the ills of the society.

That boy Naira Marley is an epidemic to the society... There should be a proper social distancing from him.

See eh, I will keep saying it. Naira Marley is a very big asset to too politicians in this country so nothing or no one will touch him. Why do u think his drug business is very successful and he always have his ways with his illegal doings? Do u think killing mohbad is his 1st controversy? In a sane country naira Marley shouldn't even be a free man with his doings talk more of been an ambassador to a government parsstatal (NDLEA). Imagine USA making chief kef or young thug or snoop dogg an ambassador to one of their anti drug agency... Rubbish and ingredient.. I weep for my country.

wait a minute bro, are you sure about him being arrested up to 120 times? Please can anyone help confirm this please, because if that's true then we not only have a extremely dangerous criminal in our midsts but a potential serial killer, and if not quickly put on a prison leash he will still kills more people

Naira Marley never cautioned his disciples. Many people on this forum supported naira Marley back then. Rugged man complained about his music. But marley's followers that are now pretending as accusers bashed not only him but the PPRO and EFCC when he was arraigned for fraud related cases.

If Wizkid was signed by one of these Agberos, he would’ve been late by now.

Record execs hardly let their artistes ‘walk away’, they will try as hard as they can to frustrate you.

It’s easier over here in Nigeria where they try to send their goons after you but in the US, you may not be able to release a single song ever again.

I hope Olamide’s artistes are getting a good deal because he looks like ‘them’.

N/B: These are just conjectures and shouldn’t be taken for truths or facts

That it got so bad...
I used to be one writer way back, about 13 years ago, and after my first book, I discovered the internet and subsequently, this site. I was young, naive and excited.

I was happy to post and respond to feedbacks, thinking I'm doing something. Then part of my findings were the historical connections, then this guy appears to shut it down. That was 10 years ago.

I will disagree with him on my posts. I don't dare his post but I will defend mine. This guy will not stop because I'm unstoppable with my claims. So he has to find a way to stop me. It continues through to 2019.

I've said I'm working on a book of history in my line of thought much earlier, he said it is like trying to squeeze water from the stone, I said if it doesn't happen in his lifetime, it will happen after he's gone. That's 2020.

That statement was my saving grace, because he took offense and called it death threat. I apologized, I then asked him to create his own thread on Yoruba history and leave mine alone. He said no.

Then he came back with the warnings that he has my details, and because I've once thought he's someone who connected with me on Facebook earlier (2013), I felt he knows about me through Facebook.

He said "who is your friend on Facebook?" That's early 2020. But I later discovered that he has given his source by implicit egotism in responding to me in the warning, that he got my details through a contact. So, I did a long check.

I made my discreet findings through the man he used to contact me and I found out it was a ruse but I didn't fall for it. Then, I called him out, and the other guy too. That's late 2020.

But they also fought back, trying to lure me through customers that actually originated from them. The guy who fetch my contact got my product, and it has my label, bearing my shop address.

Unknown to me, since I didn't respond to that traveling offer with desperation, they involved regular people who played along as regular customers, who claimed to have used and enjoyed my product.

These ones engaged me and become part of my family. But after that confession, something just happened to burst one or two, and I began to have mistrust for all my returning customers.

And it seems like they were not genuine, all three of them were pastors, deacon hmm. That's mirror effect for me as a Christian, they tend to show they were pastors when I'm not questioning, these were to draw me closer little by little.

It's not supposed to be that long to catch a prey, but not everyone is a prey.

YoungLionken:
You Nairalanders don't sleep or what??

Well, as for the topic. Nigerians have this common idiosyncrasy of supporting/defending their favorites over anyone/anything, no matter how bad or terrible it is. Someone like buhari for instance, is supposed to be stoned anywhere he goes, but yet, he has people (some of the nincompoops are shamelessly here too) supporting him, saying his government is one of the best in history. Now BAT..

The truth is, Mohbad can never justice from the government. Sanwolou's and BAT's silence have already sent the message to us..

But with God all things are possible..

#justiceformohbad ...

Nigerians and hypocrisy...

Nigerians that turned Naira Marley to a demi-god...

As much as I don't want to underestimate his talent, but left to me, naira Marley won't sell a single tape.

Like, what the heck does he even sing?

But surprisingly, Nigerians (especially these gen Z's) kept promoting his songs and bad lifestyle.

They would brazingling flaunt their joints in public with their trousers dragged to their thighs and be calling themselves Marlians.

Now that the cock has come home to roost, everyone is acting like they weren't part of the problem.

I still remember this woman's ordeal with Naira Marley, majority of youths were in naira marley's support. Thank God the internet don't lie. Their comments are still there!
You’ve said it all. God bless you.
