In the SW, we employ non-indigenes in state government job and it is public knowledge. If you schooled in Ibadan for example, at one time or the other during your secondary school days, you would have had an Ibo teacher included.

It seems we all have different experience.

Hope Yoruba leaders are seeing this.. In this era of no jobs, it's outsiders and total strangers you people should be dashing employment while Yoruba youths go hungry and jobless.

If you peruse Oyo state workforce for example, you’ll see non-indigenes (non-Yorubas) clearly representing but government don’t mind.

Initially when I saw this news, I wanted to slander Soludo but come to think of it, what did he do wrong? Should he have given the limited job to non-indigenes at the expense of Anambra people?

Shey na him talk say make our own governors mumu ni? Even in Ondo now, non-indigene are now taking over LCDAs chairmanship, that’s when you will know it is finished for Yoruba leaders.

This is not the policy of Anambra state government.
I believe the governor will look into it with the plans to make amends.
Every government makes mistake and people's engagement helps to drive changes.
Lagos state government recently demolished structures built by Igbo people and are currently coercing everybody to speak Yoruba language.

I actually kinda like the Igbo way. Personally, I don’t see the sense in employing non-indigene in the civil service of a state where millions of the indigenes don’t even have jobs.

SW governors are bunch of “I don’t care” leaders without self preservation. God bless Soludo, if he doesn’t protect Anambra indigenes, who will?

Our people are really not smart as they think and that is why Hausa - Fulanis continue to have upper hand in politics..

I've been observing this dangerous trend among Yoruba leaders for a while now where Yoruba youths will be left unemployed while strangers take up government jobs and appointments.. sotey they carried this 'I don't care' attitude to Abuja where GEJ almost removed Yorubas completely from Federal service.

I really feel sorry for the young ones coming up cos it's as if they used wool to block the ears of Yoruba leaders with the kind of visionless attitude we keep seeing on their part.

Anambra kept all the jobs in Anambra for Anambra indigenes but Lagos won't even consider Indigenes for 70-80 percent of Jobs in Lagos. I just feel sorry for Yoruba youths.
