BREAKING!!!

@MTNNG secure Exclusive right to NPFL Broadcast Streaming

Propel Sports Africa, the broadcast streaming partners of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced a deal with MTN Nigeria for exclusive broadcast of the matches on mobile devices.

UNDERSTANDING THE MTN x NPFL DEAL:

* The word 'EXCLUSIVE' was used in the official announcement.

I reached out to my NPFL source for clarity - My source;

"Only MTN subscribers can access the LIVE games on the NPFL LIVE App. Other network subscribers will have access to the delayed highlights."

My opinion:

* The NPFL and MTN missed the opportunity to break down the details of the deal in terms of exclusivity and access for other network subscribers. There should be a follow-up communication explaining this deal.

The potential of the NPFL x MTN Deal:

* The streaming will cover eight (cool live games each weekend, which will translate to over 300 games per season.

* The NPFL x MTN deal includes in-and-post-game highlights delivered in real-time to MTN subscribers through the NPFL Live OTT platform.

* The NPFL & Propel Sports have partnered to launch an NPFL LIVE App. The App will stream NPFL games this season, and the partnership target streaming of over 300 NPFL games this season.

Leave Argentina out of it. They produce 10s like water. Even their famous strikers and wingers are actually 10s.

List of Argentines that have played as 10s sometime in their lives.

Ortega
Gallardo
Tevez
Aguero
Aimar
Riquelme
Insua
Zarate
Buonanote
Di Maria.

Nigeria has no excuse why we are not churning out creative talents. It is just that our system is corrupt and it is had for genuine talents to breakthrough without envelopes.
But were they close to the level of Maradona and Messi,or even to Requelme?
Because Okocha and Mikel is our own Maradona and Messi

players like kanu,Okocha and Mikel are generational talents that emerge once in a long time

Argentina with all her footballing talent waited for over 20 years to hv another player similar to Maradona in Messi

France till date is yet to hv another zizou after he retired 17 years ago

Liberia is yet to hv another Weah

Ukraine yet to hv another Schevchenko

Italy yet to produce another baggio

Cameroon yet to hv another Eto’o

CIV yet to hv another drogba and yaya

Germany yet to hv another Klinsmann

The list is long bro 😎

We may not have another Zizou but France has given us,

Ben Arfa
Gourcuff
Nasri.

Aguero is one of the best players in the history of football. Di Maria is a footballing legend. Pastore is one of the most skillful players to grace the game. Tevez is a legend of the game. These are big names.

We are just stagnant because we keep sabotaging ourselves.

Watch Ortega's skills. This guy was magic. There were those who preferred Gallardo to him. Our own, we just keep pressing ourselves.

Are they real French? Maybe if we colonize Morocco or Algeria we too might get our own Zizou. You leave Africa jump to Europe and South America. Nigeria is the only corrupt country in the world cos we don't have midfielders coming through? Going by your logic, Germany too is corrupt cos they don't have strikers coming. You self! lol!

We need to do something about it asap. No be only cones and VLC player logo we go dey do for training. Let them perfect the art of dangerous setpieces and ball recoveries(which i saw some potential in the Tome game)

We have the personnel on group. Esp with players like Iwobi, Nacho, Boniface on ground. We too dey dull.
Our training drills have always been laughable. I remember watching a short training clips last week or so where Ekong almost injured Bassey (?) all in the name of training.

I've watched our falcons training too and I must say na rubbish drills Dem dey do. Make me wonder if those coaches no dey follow global football.

The medics nko? Na food science all of them study in school...dem just fat anyhow. It is the way they will be running towards the injured player ... one would think they know exactly what they're doing.

Pls drop sources on how Nwakali is making name for himself in Portuguese league.

Only Rafa Silva has created more chances (14) than Kelechi Nwakali (12) in the entire Portuguese League.

Kelechi Nwakali is just a rookie in the league.

Sources: Fotmob, Whoscored, Sofascore, etc.

The coach's philosophy is quite new to the players. This is very clear to see. Their defensive transitions are still a work in progress.

Nwakali has to be the biggest enigma in Nigerian football history. The way he gets all this hype and amazing stats yet he can never seem to stop playing for struggling teams that are relegation candidates. When will he ever get to play for a decent team, even if mid table? something just doesn't feel right about his career.

You can't compare us to Brazil. We have had Ronaldinho, Robinho, Adriano, Ze Roberto, Giovanni Elber, Gabriel Jesus, Firmino, Coutinho and a range of Super stars after the three R's. We should be producing stars over the years but we ain't. That is why we are at the mercy of foreigners now.

The only real super star close to those R guys is Neymar jnr.
Gebriel Jesus,Coutinho and Firmino couldn't even dominate over rated premier league that player like R9 would have destroyed

What you are missing is that the Premier league today is far more intense and tactical than what Ronaldo faced.

These guys are playing in a far more tougher environment.
