The Police have said the autopsy of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly known as Mohbad, has been completed.

The Police made this known on its X (Twitter) page on Thursday night.

Recall that Lagos State Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, had earlier announced that Mohbad’s body was exhumed for autopsy.

“The Police wish to inform the public that the autopsy procedure for Mr Mohbad has been successfully completed,” the Police wrote.

“Furthermore, the information will be provided as soon as the results are available,” it added.

Mohbad’s death, last Tuesday, raised concerns, as an accusing finger was pointed at the Marlian Record Label’s owner, Afeez Fashola, professionally known as Naira Marley.

He has since said he was innocent, and joining in the call for investigation and justice.

Also, there have been allegations and counter-allegations from relatives over Mohbad’s estate.

Nigerians queried why he was buried at Ikorodu in Lagos a day after he died. But his father provided an explanation, saying that the family followed Yoruba custom.

Meanwhile, Nigerian youths have staged peaceful protests across the country to demand justice for him, with a candlelight procession and concert held in Lekki, Lagos, today.

People should please wait for the police to release outcome of the autopsy.

For now, it's reasonable to presume that those you are pointing accusing finger at may be innocent.

His death is called oku ofo in Yorubaland and further delay of his burial is frowned at, in fact,
regarded as a taboo.The family must be commended for cooperating with the authorities, particularly, the mother of the deceased.

The way and shoddy manner they hurriedly buried a bread winner like Mohbad is highly preposterous giving that he's not even a muslim!

People should wait of the official autopsy report
I urge all well meaning Nigerians to stay calm and trust that the police will unravel the mystery surrounding his death
It’s is important also not to point accusing fingers
As everyone under law is innocent until proven guilty nor destroy property in the name of protest
Allow the police to carry out its investigations please

This is the result of not keeping quiet. Most people always tend to underrate the power of social media media. Now most media houses are cancelling Marlian records, shows being cancelled and the police getting interested .

I think this whole Saga should make more Nigerians pay more attention to the Kind of music and content we consume generally. Remember how marlians was a real movement then and everybody shouting that they belong to Nomanaz, not knowin that Nomanaz was a real gang that Naira marley formed way back on the streets of Peckham. There's every a whole documentary on it featuring Naira Marley , these guys do drugs , kill , steal and commit all manner of atrocities

Crime networks, Movies (Netflix) and Crime Games have turned everybody to overnight experts in their own eyes.

It's okay to have an opinion or speculation but the onus is on us to allow established authorities to do their professional job as we wait patiently for the result of the investigation, even if it takes months.
