These talks are part of broader negotiations covering U.S. security assurances, civilian nuclear assistance, and potential Israeli concessions to the Palestinians.

Addressing the importance of the Palestinian issue in the normalisation process, the crown prince emphasised the need to find a resolution and outlined Saudi Arabia's negotiation strategy. He highlighted the desire for Israel to play a positive role in the Middle East and contribute to improving the lives of Palestinians.
