If you people can accuse the man who gave birth to Mohbad of burying him alive, then his wife having a child with Larry is an unthinkable accusation?? Most problem with
Nigerians is the ability to detach emotions from reality.

There are no issues with the child of Mohbad when he was alive as far as we're informed.
We have to draw a line between good and evil but things should be done the right way.
Getting justice is the most important focus now for the young chap.
Issues of DNA will suffice after the World identify the reason why Mohbad was killed.
Of course, the various money realised for the Mohbad estate will not be given the young widow until the child paternity is resolved.

I am only saying that in the event an agreement is no longer tenable, it should be amicably renegotiated with both parties showing consideration for the prevailing or extant circumstances.

You see I always advocate that there are are three sides to a story; the one side, the other side and the truth. It will be interesting to hear from the suspects. But this is not the best time to hear from the others. Clearly, they are already guilty in the court of Public Opinion.

Finally, I would like to let you know that in the majority of cases like this there are usually some powerful people behind the scenes who can use this to make some other person(s) look bad. The public is easily swayed in times like this and all forms of objectivity takes flight.

Anybody calling for DNA test must be interested in the dead boy property. And likely a family member started making this ridiculous demand. He didn't question the paternity of his child, so nobody else has the right to. Not even the grand father. That young mum and and son must be protected. I don't trust even the mohbad's direct and extended families. I think the next thing, they will be fighting for control of the little the boy had in life.

Looking at the fact that the girl's family even had to lie to his father that they never helped me acquire a land or the fact that they couldn't have him buried in his so called 2 acres instead he had to be buried in a plot he bought for his father. And their own attitude, she's mourning but she can tweet about 10 tweets the very day he died?. Abeg...he who must come with equity must come with clean hands. A DNA test doesn't in any way affect her mourning. It infact reinforces that she's a jewel. As long as y'all can castigate the father for been student, when clearly it was the wife he had issues with while alive according to voice notes he sent to her. Hypocrisy is giving the wife and mother stupid excuses and painting them as saints but destroying the father emotionally.

If she has nothing to hide, SHE SHOULD DO DNA TEST FOR THE CHILD!
Why are Nigerians like this? We love darkness, secrecy and falsehood so much! This attempt by people (especially women) to demonize men who demand for DNA test MUST stop!
If we really want justice for Mohbad, a DNA TEST MUST be done on the child.

If the child turns out to be for Mohbad, then the wife’s conscience will be clean. If not, we will know the wife is not benefiting from a lie. Mohbad will also get justice there!

I want to ask a question and I need a genuine response from you, if you have a younger brother signed to a record label and faced all the trauma Mohbad faced aside the death part, what would you have done as a senior brother?

If my brother enters a contract without me in the picture at the very beginning and then issues arise we can only salvage the situation to the best of our ability.

Note that the spirit of the agreement lies in the enabling clauses. At this level a lawyer should have been involved. But if the milk is spilt already then we have to look for ways of amicably settling the matter.

Now, were there threats from the label owner? If yes, did they report to the police? Did they raise an alarm formally? Was there a press conference? What about an media briefing or TV interview?

Many options exist for resolving this matter without further animosity.

Finally, when entering into an agreement think it through, get inputs from more knowledgeable people before putting pen to paper.
