Instead of you to condemn the bad infrastructure and bad governance instead you are more concerned about what people will say. How many times have you made this sort of post whenever it is about Anambra? Now it has affected your state and all of a sudden you remembered that it ‘demarketing southeast’. Bunch of hypocritical ediots

Is the Solution Fun City the same project as the Solution Fun Park? If not, where will the Solution Fun City be located? It appears the Solution Leisure Park has been designated to be built inside the Obiano Awka city stadium. Is this right?

At 6:08 in the video below, the Solution Fun City and the Solution Leisure Park were described as the same project located inside the Awka City stadium.

There is a difference between constructive criticisms and de-marketing. Be guided!

You are an ediot. There’s a difference between you condemning bad governance than deceiving yourself because you think it is demarketing. Tell your useless governor to start fixing your backward imo state instead of always coming here to fool yourself

Well… when you see mediocrity… is obvious and an eyesore… so a project of billions of Naira have such an ugly thin road to it?

Why not you go to a Virgin place and make something new… make the access roads beautiful… paved roads with light poles and covered gullies to the solution park....show pure greenery with wide access roads.
There are things you see … you will know is a mockery.

I have asked for the computer graphics of the park…none is seen because there is none. Since Soludo is choosing to situate it in Awka why not make it worthy of capital of Anambra … see the access road so thin and horrible.
This is shameful…

When Obiano constructed roads in the main Awka he bore it in mind to have a befitting capital look… now all pictures of Awka have that bridge as Awka signature.

Many think I am against Soludo… I want him not to disappoint me …sadly my fears is obvious

Ekwulobia bridge is Nice but one lane…
The ekwlobia bridge and the fun city is the obvious infrastructure in Awka …the way ekwulobia is going is well and good but this fun city?

The ogbunike cave is better it will be more serene because of the lush trees and all… ANSG don’t like wide roads, trees and greens, covered gullies etc. and is quite saddening as many love this shoddy jobs..

We see on social media when roads newly built by other states so nice with light and all… but our own… we can’t even boast of it.. look at Asaba… do you see the road leading to the place? This what we ask for in Anambra but is an impossible request. You will see how this project will be a joke if care is not taken

They way Soludo conduct construction is not satisfactory someone is saying it in video.. wait for some here who is only living here to insult but cannot contribute constructively do what is known for..

Everything for you is mediocre. You can do your due diligence rather than basing your criticism on half backed information. The entrance to the facility is on the express,
just after one decends the kwata flyover. The attached layout of the park shows it.

Am not a big fan of the present administration, because they have not met expectations. But will always acknowledge any positives no matter how small.

Nnam … All I want is some thing befitting for us Ndi Anambra.

You saw the road to the entrance is not nice for a huge project.. I pray he includes it

The one at Asaba is very fine in a good location the access and entrance roads are great with all amenities a road should have .. my brother I pray and hope our own is better or as there’s at least.. the way ANSG construct roads fear me and makes me think it will litter in all infrastructure.

Bro, anyone that is passionate about the state has every right to be angry with the pace and scope of development. We need wider roads, although like we always disagree, not all roads can be dualized lol.

I was really disappointed with what was done at club road, cause the ample space due to the transmission line there, presented a good opportunity for them to deliver a master piece. Something in the mould of the Kigali city center. Alas they just reconstructed the narrow 7.3m road. Very unfortunate.

I watched an interview by the commissioner of works and he said that before the end of their first tenure, Awka-Agulu-Ekwulobia-Idato boundary will be a dual carriage boulevard. So its likely they'll award it soon, and hopefully to a good contractor.

So let's be a little patient with them. They may finish strong, although the Dubai-Tiwan won't happen.

Can someone verify if people are now allowed to build residential houses along the airport way?
I thought the Anambra state government wanted to preserve the space along the Anambra International Airport road as a business district for airport logistics, hotels, etc. Has that plan already been scrapped now that land prospectors are allowed to build housing estates right along the airport road? Even the sand already on the road shows that it will soon end up like many such streets in our cities that will be clogged with keke and local market traffic.

Your words are soothing frayed nerves.........sometimes it is quite easy to get annoyed at our governors but only Providence knows what they are going through in terms of paucity of funds....I do not think Obiano left much for Soludo to work with........nevertheless he campaigned for the job,so he get to deliver!

One thing that really endearsme to Obi ,is his love for education.........and he really delivered in that aspect, we have been pushing for infrastructural projects.......what about human capital development..? Now that our Politicians have finally bankrupted Nigeria ( 1000 naira/1 dollar) , how do we train our youth to survive in the truly scary socio-economic conditions we are in now?

Anambra state government must be very intentional on how they craft educational policies........I live in the american mid west and I know for a fact that there are major labour and staffing shortages in critical areas of the American labour market...........other nations are tapping into that shortages, I read somewhere that Indian medical professionals certifications are now recognised in the US, Chicago in illinois also went as far as Phillipines to recruit over 5000 elementary and high school teachers..........that is Phillipines with their half baked English! What about Airline pilots............the shortages are in tens of thousands, remote IT work kwanu?

Human capital trumps crude oil and gold resources several times over! Setting up advanced IT institutes with NIIT or other serious companies, how about setting up a flight school with Airpaeace and United Nigeria? There are hundreds of small colleges in the US our universities can affliate with and pursue updated medical professional certifications........I dunno but God will help Soludo and our youth.........

Nwannem… I understand… that’s why I always say… any road they build now regardless if is in rural or urban.. ANSG should make it wide mostly when both sides are free and put amenities like lighting and cover gutters and of course trees…At least we can be happy and feel the Taiwan incoming city… but when they do the opposite is like scam… and we look foolish..we yab northerners but there roads have good amenities..

Ehe… did you see the clip about where Soludo is advertising about intracity railway … any updates or what has he done about it? Did he find investors ?

Also nwanne what about the oseokwa port Soludo talked about what has he done? .. did he atleast approach the FG for it? Still on the port how about the concessionaire of onitsha port any update ? Sadly they busy begging money from FG and ANSG

We need to let ANSG to know the right standard of building roads. So we can be happy of our own projects .

For the Anambra intracity rail project, they have signed up CPCs intercoms Ltd to design the masterplan. The Canadian firm is one of the best and have designed many infrastructure projects in Africa. They are also consulting for the Lagos Rail project.

Apart from the design, they'll also do ElA, financial analysis and business case. It is when one is armed with such documents that one can start approaching investors. I listened in on the twitter space by ANSIPPA, as a follow up to the investment summit, and the MD said that no matter the final outcome of the investment drive for the project, the administration will likely be doing one route, probably Awka to Onitsha, with a spur to the Airport, but that it will still be subject to the feasibility report from CPCs. It will be a huge positive for the administration if they can deliver a good design and also secure all the right of way for the project.

On the Oseokwa River port, they said two studies, one funded by World Bank and the other by FG, were carried out in the past, but that they have been unable to lay their hands on the reports. That its likely that ANSG will finance a new study to determine the depth and nautical miles. But one good thing is that they plan to link Onitsha-Nnewi-Ihiala-Oseokwa in the rail masterplan.

On the Onitsha River port, the MOU signed with Universal Elysium is for them to conduct a detailed study of the cost implications of dredging the Niger, so that ANSG can know how to come in. Apparently FG have no plans of dredging it, and I doubt if the concessionaire has the capacity to do it alone.

SOLUDO BEGINS INTERVENTION ON FAILED NNOBI AXIS OF THE NNOBI-NKPOR FEDERAL ROAD

By Christian Aburime

In a move that shows a commitment to the well-being of the citizens, Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has taken a decisive action to address the gully erosion on Nnobi axis of the Nnobi-Nkpor Federal Highway.

Recall that on September 5, 2023, Governor Soludo paid an on-the-spot assessment visit to the portion where he immediately promised to mobilize and commence intervention on the federal road.

The severed road is a major road which connects the entire Onitsha and Idemili to Nnobi, Nnokwa, Nnewi, Aguata and most of Anambra south and the Country at large.

A team of experts from the State's Ministry of Works, led by the Commissioner, Engr Ifeanyi Okoma quickly mobilized to assess the road's deplorable condition and came up with a comprehensive remedial plan to address it

The remedial measures taken by Governor Soludo's administration in response to the failed road will significantly improve accessibility, safety, and the overall driving experience for the people. Without the Governor's timely intervention, the road which had been cut off will have continued to be a source of frustration and safety concerns.

As a result of his leadership, commuters, and road users will breathe a sigh of relief as they will begin to travel with ease and confidence on the reconstructed road.

Indeed, the Governor has set a positive example of what responsible governance looks like and demonstrated how leaders can use their position to prioritize the needs of their people.
Please when will this road be motorable again
