TheSuperNerd and Kokmne have said it all.

Ndidi I want is old Ndidi as DM who was rated as one of the best in EPL some season ago but if he can shake it upfront then good to have space for Onyedika or Onyeka.

I will never rate Ndidi and Iheanacho in championship
Bro prime ndidi was nasty asf, nobody comes close and imagine the kind of team he was working with,

Ndidi is the biggest what if’s, had he move during his prime like most players does it’ll help in his development tremendously

I know that.

I am emphasising it because this isn't the first or second time. Would he keep apologising for the same thing when he loses his cool?

He has to get it together as the Super star he is now.
Well said

Brighton's Football scouting model focus...A Note

Brighton chief executive Paul Barber: "We try to have players through our door before we need them."

"In an ideal world, you don’t want to be targeting a player right after you’ve sold one in his position, because everybody knows you’ve got money!"

"A lot of work goes into that process of looking at players all over the world."

"The more data there is when it comes to recruiting that player or coach, the better, but there are certain markets where the data is thinner than others."

"The data will be thinner in places where, for example, players have a longer education or don’t feature in as many league games."

"When we’re looking at players from those areas, we combine our research to make sure we’ve got plenty of eyes on scouting and character referencing, to build up a picture as best we can.”

Vintage Jose 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

🗣️Johan Cruyff: “Mourinho is a coach of titles, not football.”

🗣️ José Mourinho's response: “Thank you, it’s true I’m a title trainer. I love getting lessons from Cruyff, but he still has to teach me how to lose a Champions League final 4-0.”

Coaches have zeroed football to win win and this has limited the playmakers abilities to fully express themselves on the field of play.

The game is now result-driven. It gets harder with the new tactics that keeps coming up. Read about when Ragnick first met a gengenpress as a coach. He said he had to walk into the field to count the opposing players on the field. grin Was shocked that it was eleven v eleven.

You can imagine how it is today.

Yakubu Aiyegbeni was the first African player to score a UEFA Champions League hattrick.

The then 19-year old netted thrice for Maccabi Haifa against Olympiacos in a UCL group stage game on 24 September 2002.

Yakubu opened scoring from the penalty spot in the 27th minute and went on to score two more in minutes 60 and 86 in a comfortable 3-0 win.

21 years later, no other Nigerian player has scored a hattrick in the competition.

Marjori,I noticed you do compares Osimhen with Barca,City,Bayern CFs in terms of chances created….are you saying Haaland,Lewandowski and Kane are not doing anything on the field.

The best chance to be given to a player is penalty but he lost it.Sincerely too early to say Osimhen is on goal drought. He need to calm down when things are not going his way.

What he is saying is that Haaland has the liberty to miss three clear chances and still score a goal or two in the game. Osimhen does not have that luxury.

The last penalty Haaland got he missed it and two very good clear cut chances. But he still scored a header cos the chances kept coming. In the case of Napoli only Kvara create chances and this season he has been found out (two players are always on him), and the right side is practically useless. The midfielders hardly give assists. Unlike Barca, City, Bayern, Liverpool and even Arsenal. Osimhen had to hustle for everything. Even the penalty came from his hustling!!

Not enough! He should be sent to the reserve even if he apologized publicly. If it's Mourinho that would be his last game for Napoli!
They should publicly flog him too abi how you see am?

Of course, I am not justifying his behavior. I already condemned it and even asked him to be sent to the reserve team. I am just trying to understand him and see things from his own perspective too. A good judge must seek to understand the cause but most only look at the correlation!
TheSuperNerd:
Does frustration justify losing it in battle?

When it also gets frustrating in CIV, he would need his cool more than anything else because he is the guy the team will look to in tough times. Osimhen has to understand he is a leader now.

And what is a penalty if not a clear cut chance?

I no really fancy Turkish league, I only rate the top 3 clubs which are galatasaray, fenebache and besiktas to a certain extend but with fisayo’s numbers and performances since he moved to Hatayspor from English league 1 he shouldn’t be ignored

If we can follow the progress of Nwakali playing in Chaves we can as well do same to Fisayo who is even better with regards to being his first stint in top tier football. If Nwakali was the one with such performances and goal contribution here for don catch fire 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I am not saying he should be invited to the super eagles asap but needs to be closely monitored by jpes for the future. For sure if he continues with his superb form better clubs in the league and outside of Turkey will queue up to sign him
Why will he not be invited now. I don't understand the reason. If he can do it with men, means that he is matured. And we are lacking personnel in his position. I bet you by next season he is moving back to EPL. No be only we dey monitor him oh.

He should have left! I said it numerous times. But them George Weah said he should stay! Okoo!
Kvara lost an important penalty and nobody trolled him. Napoli admin mocking your highest goalscorer this way is the most racist thing I have ever witness. Seria A did it now the club is doing same. What a shame!

If it is me, I will never play for that team again!

I feel so pained and really sad! How can you do this to 24 year old who came from nothing to the top of world football. You can blame him all you want for his reaction to the coach but he was not abusing the coach. He is just upset about the penalty miss and that he won't have the opportunity to make amend in that game by being sub out. He just want to play soccer and win. Why troll him? He gave out many penalties last season for the team and were missed by the other players but nobody trolled them. To see a club you are giving everything mock you like this is distasteful and every Nigerian should get on X and tiktok to report that account. Let them know you don't mess with our players! I can't even work, man! I am really sad!!

If it was the NPFL. Ajax would forfeit 3pts and get banished to another state. In this case the NPFL is actually stricter grin

Hmmm!
What Napoli did to Milik is still fresh in my mind.

If Osimhen is going to leave Napoli it is best he abstains from drama. ADL is a NURTW chairman.

I predict Napoli finishing out of UCL qualifications for this season. At least that will take some chip off ADL's shoulder.

However being injury free, Good UCL and Afcon will cover for Osimhen.

More than anyone here, I have and will always come to Osimhen's defence but one thing he must understand is to avoid repeating something negative again and again and again. It shows he doesn't learn if he keeps falling into the same trap.

I say this with a bigger picture in mind. He wants Glory with Nigeria's Super Eagles. It won't come easy. There is a psychological side to it that he must be ready for.

“There's also VAR. I've always been against it and wish it didn’t exist. It takes the essence of the game away from you!"

Thanks to Gaurdiola and Mourinho. These two architects of modern football and the throng of their foot soldiers killed football.

As for the Italians or more precisely neapolitans behind that nonsense on tiktok, they should just prepare for another league trophy drought for the next 60yrs+.

Osimhen will always be remembered as a legend in Napoli's history but I am still miffed he is still there. Summer of 2023 was supposed to be the summer he moves from Napoli expecially after ADL let Spaletti go and sold Kim without a proper replacement. But it just didn't happen. Man utd turned to a "cheaper" alternative. Bayern couldn't spend more than 100million so they used it on Kane.

Real Madrid could have been the club going for Osimhen if they told themselves the truth but the Mbappe Obsession has blinded them from focusing on their real problem. Don't they realise that if they get Mbappe, their problem remains? They need a Number 9 badly. A proper Super center forward. Not an ekuke like Joselu.

He needs to make that psychology leap. Mentality of calmness of mind in human relation and fierceness on the field of play.
