izzou:As an aside, there seems to be a real push for cng. Nnpc is planning to roll out several cng stations. If the infrastructure is in place people will be comfortable adopting. If you know there are enough stations along your route. The problem conventional electric cars will face is charge time and cost of electricity. |

donjazzet:I don't know what else you'd have me state. You asked this question prior and I responded in detail. You argued it's not what you want to read. There's a difference between male and female psychology. A woman owes her man loyalty, a man owes his woman dependability. Every other thing is just extra. If you have experience in heterosexual relationships, you'd get this without me or anyone having to explain. That you are asking begs the obvious question. |

DissTroy:Okay I see where you're getting everything wrong. The fact that you think that the psychology between a man and woman is different. I mean really?? You believe that thought processes is defined by gender. Really? Also what's this bullshite about women owing men loyalty? Loyalty is earned my man, not expected. And that goes both ways. Talking about "dependability". This is where gender roles according to society comes in I guess. What makes you think that a woman HAS TO BE dependent on her man? This is where you get it wrong. A marriage is determined by what you and partner want it to be. I like my woman to be assertive as I am. As opinionated as I am and also as independent as she could be. I don't do well with partners who depend on me for everything because obviously the dynamics changes and just maybe because this because I am from a home where both parents were salary earners and found a way to work together especially financially. I guess we have different views sha. And enough with these gay jabs. I'm trying to have a healthy conversation with you but you're trying to stir it in a distasteful manner. I don't see what warrants these petty jabs. |

I know of people who used their pension/gratuity to open farms and lost everything. Na stroke immediately |

donjazzet:No, a phone is a personal device Whether cheating or not, there is confidentiality in phone messages beyond the purview of a partner, whether that's conversations with siblings, parents, friends or that bro always sending you lewd jokes or pōrn skits on WhatsApp that your partner just won't understand |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by DissTroy(m): 5:33pm On Sep 26, 2023 |
You want an example of the difference between male and female psychology? A woman would tell you, "I need love, care (even in form of gifts and checking up), and attention." (Dependability.) A man would tell you, "I need a woman who is submissive and respects me." (Loyalty.) These are the first requirements for women and men by default before getting involved in something romantic and potentially long-term. Every other requirement is an extra. If you don't get this obvious difference and how it shapes how men and women interact in relationships/marriages, well, then what's the point? |

liveLongNprospa:It's not everything you discuss with guys that you share with your wife sha. I agree with you that pillow talk is a thing, and there is no real way to keep secrets. But there's definitely stuff I discuss with my guys that I can never tell my wife - and they do likewise. As a matter of fact, for my friendship group, if we don't trust you to keep secrets, and your mouth runs anyhow, you won't be in the other group chat. All of us may be chatting about football and BS on the main chat, but you'll only see the hangout pics on social media. If you're smart you'll get the hint that we don't really eff with you like that. |

Over the weekend, I was studying some works of Isaac Newton for my research project. Specifically, I focused on his masterpiece, "Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica", originally published by Newton himself in 1687 in Latin and translated to English much later. Link to the Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica in Latin: https://www.gutenberg.org/files/28233/28233-pdf.pdf Link to the Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica in English: https://ia801604.us.archive.org/1/items/newtonspmathema00newtrich/newtonspmathema00newtrich.pdf 1687 was in the late 17th century. How did the English language become one of the major languages in the science world in modern times, after Latin and Greek, even though some centuries ago, the English people scarcely had any scientists of note? It was through the critical use of the brain: Many thinkers among the British people saw the need to develop science in their native language of English. Early British scientists such as Newton had mostly written their works in Latin, which had held the position occupied globally today by the English language in the past. However, some highly intelligent British people translated those works and other works by some other early British scientists into their mother tongue, English, and this was how they laid the foundation for the development of science in the English language adopted by billions of people worldwide in modern times. Obviously, colonization and slavery played a key role in aiding the British people to achieve this feat. However, it also boils down to the use of the brain, and it's just so unfortunate that many times on this planet, the more intelligent people tend to oppress, colonize, and enslave the less intelligent ones. This is why many people in a region should pay keen attention to the deep use of the brain, which brings about high intelligence, and engage in philosophy and science, which sharpen the brain, and not religion, which makes the brain dull. If many don't, such a people are prone to being colonized and enslaved by smarter peoples from foreign countries who don't joke with activities that help develop the brain faster. This is the current status of Africa today as the region is still under Europe and Arabia as slaves. While the English language has been adopted by billions of people worldwide today in the science world, science itself originated from ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, and Old Rome. These are some of the earliest peoples who evolved mentally at a much faster rate than many other peoples around the world. That's why they serve as the birthplaces of what we call science in modern times. Yet, many Africans erroneously consider science as something that originated from the English culture. Just like the English people developed science in their mother tongue some centuries ago, and this body of knowledge has matured in that culture in modern times, Africans should also emulate this and develop science in the native languages of Africa. Africa is even the origin of civilization and what's called science and technology today, but the problem is most Africans don't know or care about their history. Science is indigenous to all native cultures of Africa. We're in the era of science and technology now. If any culture fails to develop this important body of knowledge in their mother tongue, they won't be able to move forward and meet up with other relatively advanced cultures of the world. It's important for people to grow with the times and engage in something (science) that other peoples around the world are doing to innovate and solve myriad problems they face, allowing them to develop faster. A culture that doesn't grow with the times will die sooner or later.

DissTroy:Disstroy you have a repeated history of throwing the gay jabs my way. It's not a today something. Which is why I am specifically asking you what warrants it today when I'm basically having a well intentioned conversation with you today. Today, you are going hard on women who cheat on their spouses and I'm asking you what about the men who cheat and you are not addressing that answer directly. I asked you; what do we say about men who cheat on their women and your answer is that men expect loyalty and women expect dependability. How exactly does that address the question. That's a non answer to the question asked. If I told you I was cheating on my woman, what will be your response to me? Will you say I'm doing well or will you say I should stop, that's infidelity is never good? What's your opinion on men who cheat on their spouses. The gay jabs are very unnecessary and uncalled for. |

DissTroy:The bolded is still the mistake you are making. People are different. People have different expectations and experiences from a relationship. There are some women who actually like to partake in the financial running of the households and the man is only happy to. I am a direct beneficiary of that. My mom's workplace was one where the workers contributed a part of their salary every month and then by December, all of them would get a 50kg bag of rice, large container of groundnut oil, bag of beans, carton of tin tomato, basket of onions and some spices. And when these things finished in the house, she would replenish them. These things in bulk took us quite some way while my dad handled things like kero and later gas, buying any electric gadget we used in the house, radio,TV, vcd, dvd, generator, fuel. Etc. Basically anything concerning food was handled by my mom while my dad took care of every other thing. School fees, buying clothes, books etcetera. This is what worked for them. Yeah, I know families where maybe the man basically bought everything in the house and the woman was in charge of just making things work in home. Domestic chores and the likes. But again people's expectations are very different. Stop generalizing. Different strokes for different folks. |

donjazzet:You and I know you desperately want me to condemn and insult such men so you can leverage on it by tying it to some comments to attack the two usual adversaries on this thread/board you like to go against. That is the endpoint. It's just like when you were insisting people use the most unprintable words against those who might have made tribal-hued comments in the past so you can weaponise it to fight your two archenemies. As long as those two guys made comments today warning men to be discreet about it if they do it to avoid familial rancours, you'd accept nothing I posit other than a phrase or sentence you can weaponise against those two guys. I know your antics. I see you coming. The electioneering period revealed a lot about your ultimate goal on this board - getting one daily over those two. And I sidestep it. |

DissTroy:bro there is nothing to hide nor sugarcoat.. This Nigeria, this Africa and this climate we re now, men get away with cheating because they re largely the breadwinner and the provider and they re the one that married the woman and paid her bride price.. they built the home 🏠 and brought the woman in, they chest the bulk financial responsibility.. so the playing ground is not level when it comes to infidelity.. But any man that a woman shoulders his responsibility, the last thing that is supposed to be in the man's brain is cheating.. infact that man supposed to be called a woman.. So men cheat and get away with it because it's how it's programmed to be in this part of the climate and anyone who has a contrary view should take the next flight ✈️ to his preffered destination where he and his wife would be dragging the home 🏠.. But this doesn't mean you should cheat recklessly, at least if you love your woman, you wouldn't let her know or discover you re cheating.. Men are polygamous and promiscuous in nature and I fully support men who have sex outside marriage with sense.. so far as you re the provider.. man you gats to have the sex filled bonuses that comes with the privilege.. but like I said, thou shalt not be caught |

nihilistjnr:Eleda wey don shayo sleep off. Gambling wrecks families to ground level. Just this Monday a guy came to my place for his routine check. His BP was very high and I was wondering why cos that was unusual for him. He explained that on his way to the clinic he saw his wife’s car parked outside the gambling joint, after she had sworn never to gamble again (her debts nearly wrecked them previously). Imagine, at the same moment the wife dey laugh and drink, gambling their family fortunes away, she dey give her husband Hypertension without knowing. |
