Hope they listen, because Nigerians are too stubborn.
They will not hear until task forces came after those traders.

Nigeria sef.

If the rail lines were in use those people will not be there.

I don't blame them. Plus the poverty in the land, an average Nigerian will use anything to his or her own benefit.
How do you guys justify things?

Go to India where they use train, and see people selling stuffs on the rail line only to disperse at short notice once they hear the train horn from a distance. Once the train passes, they move back to the rail line immediately. Human beings can be terrible ....

Good job.....from alagbado to ikeja/oshodi will only take 10mins. Nice job. Other states should emulate this. With this, you can comfortably stay at agbado, leave home 20mins to resumption time at work and still be on time.

Now,imagine Rhodes was the governor elect, he would have looked for an interpreter to convey this message to the teeming market women, who are mostly yorubas and unlettered. Furthermore, watch as some will still claim they were not duly informed when their wares get confiscated.

Why did you not compare with societies where people do not trade on the track?
Always benchmark with the best.

Dem no dey hear word. They will still be there when the train start operations. Moreover, you will be surprised to know that they pay levies to some govt officials for their illegal trading spots.
Nigeria problem is

15% police and other armed forces
50% the citizens.

Our level of development and the behaviour of our people is still close to that of India....
In the best climes, no one needs to tell them to stay off the rail lines because they have designated and decent marketplaces. They don't behave like we misbehave here. Nobody sells or displays stuffs where they are not supposed to in the first place.

I have not benchmarked anything here. I have only compared the behaviour of human beings across similar settings....

electricity and fast trains dose not care about poverty or need to make ends meet people should use their sense of discretion,a word is enough for the wise, poverty is not excuse for stupidity that ends in DEATH!!!
