State government should introduce a housing tax for me 15% of rental value of the house or 2.5% the value of the property empty land slots should pay 20% of average land value

Citizens can also argue that this comes to effect if and only if the street or road the house is on meet certain agreed conditions

Say paved road with standard drainage system and also refuse collection system and only in approved urban areas


This gives government incentive to fix roads and give government revenue

Anambra has over 800k houses minimum in urban areas... Value of an average of 50 million each

The reason is insecurity but in the Southeast Enugu and Owerri are outstanding for now.

Stop putting Owerri on the same sentence with Enugu or Awka, because Owerri is a village compare to those cities. Awka has by far the largest real estate presently in igboland. Most imo indigenes live and invest in Anambra while Owerri and imo state at large is left abandoned. Stop always deceiving yourself

Owerri is mostly filled with old houses from Orji to Akwakwuna to ikenegbu, Obinze, etc, except for tiny new Owerri that’s not up to one estate in Awka. You are right, Awka real estate is unrivalled at least in Igboland

Don't mind those kids. Many of them don't know the road to their states or villagees. They spend all those lives in big cities. People really need to travel to various cities/villages in Nigeria to see the rut and lack of civilization there.
People from those kind of communities don't reason well. Instead of them to plead with their rich village men/women to develop their villages, they rather come online to bad mouth the Igbos.
Anyone that has served the country through Nyac are usually little bit enlightened because they have travelled to other sections of the country.
But these kids online don't just be fooling themselves all in the name of cruise catching.

This one only remembers there is insecurity in Nigeria if it is the South East. But if ISWAP wipes out a village in the North West, or Boko slaughters people in the North East, or killer herdsmen kill people in the North central, you wont ever see him there to comment

Awka is peaceful nothing like sit at home in Awka, my cousin in-law that reside in Owerri sold their property and bought a plot of land at #15 million in Maryland estate last week, they want to relocate to Awka, mind you they're from Mbaise.

However, when it comes to pace of real estate development currently, Awka and Asaba takes the lead. I know numerous estates projects involving new layouts that are ongoing there. Lagos and Abuja cannot be compared with these places because they are like states in size.
Hope Uzodima is messing Imo up so it's not even in contention.
