I heard Alex Otti is planning on opening a seaport in Abia state

I don’t know how’s he’s gonna do that considering SE been landlocked but for him to say it then he knows better

I pray he succeeds

If Alex Otti succeeds in opening a sea port in Abia state

Lol house rent, land prices, economy, IGR, I mean everything that makes Lagos state is gone

I know you to be an ardent supporter of Obi, note this, southeast is not landlocked as falsely peddled by mischievous individuals. Don't help them by pushing this narrative, how is southeast landlocked when there's River Niger in Onitsha, Oguta lake in Imo and several water bodies in Enugu and Ebonyi.

Yeah it's always easy to blame the Governors ,, where were they when Peter Mbah tried to stop the Monday sit at home in Enugu so as to boost the economy of the state and make her more productive .

Did everyone not fold their arms and support the Citizens who openly flouted his order and the UGM who refused to see reasons with the Gove by stopping the carnage on their own people .

The Governors can't do anything unless the Igbos themselves unite and back them to deliver on their mandate

Stop dishing partial truths. You speak because you're outside. Its more of citizens are held captive not supported. Go to the SouthEast and dare to defy the narratove by opening for business on such days in support accpriding to your own words to the governor and see what becomes of you

How do you mean SE is landlocked? Are you saying there's no large enough water body in the SE that leads to the Atlantic Ocean?

He may not succeed. Your comment alone is a curse on you and all of southeast. You see you this toddler called Taylor born in 1992 is a learner. Southwest isn't bothered about your region so why is it that you all reason Lagos like say una be ashewo wey client no pay?
Southeast is landlocked. There are other things to do there aside opening seaport. One of them is stabilization of the region's security and ending this economy wrenching sit at home. But it's Lagos that's your headache. You guys are pathetic!

You aren't getting it. Lagos has always been booming before the creation of Nigeria in 1912 and it's not Igbos that developed it. Southwest has been trading and booming when southeast was still in the mud. So all these oriburuku you are capping is more headache for you. Don't be jealous of who God has blessed.

So why haven't Yorubas and North done anything to change that for more than fifty years they are ruling?

Why?

A good start but don't call on Governors alone.

CALL ON ALL STAKEHOLDERS (FG, Governors and Igbo's).

Members of the ESN belong to a family tree and Igbo's respect their family tree. Igbo's also respect their mothers more than their chiefs or kings.

Engage Igbo mothers and most importantly, address the issues of marginalization before and after the civil war.

The FG needs to apologize to Igbo's openly and publicly.

Nigeria needs National reconciliation and Healing from the ghosts of the civil war.

Nnamdi Kanu was once a Nigerian fighting for Nigeria's politics and internal security in London before drifting towards the Biafran IPOB movement. The facts and evidence are there.

Simon Ekpa was once an athlete who represented Nigeria and won trophies for this beautiful country.

Let's tell this truth for once. I have written many articles about the ghosts of the civil war and why every nation should avoid plunging into a civil war.

Please, get real and wake up.

No one is apologizing to anyone about events of the past... No one!

You all better get with the program and time, or keep rolling around in the muck of self pity and self-righteousness.

If we are talking apologies, should Yorubas and Hausas demand apologies for their sons killed brutally by military officers from your region which laid the horrible foundation for events that led to the avoidable and needless Civil war?!!

This victim mentality should be outgrown... Y'all should join hands and recover your region from the hands of destructive and corrupt elements, who happen to be your very own sons (Surprise! Surprise!! Surprise!!!).

On what grounds should FG openly apologies to SE? Pls share your views. The FG didn't just wake up one morning and started bombarding the region. One thing led to the other and also who will apologize to the minorities dominated by the Igbos during the war?

Reason the Igbos are envious and bitter about the relative peace in our Yoruba states.

The Igbos see evil, they support it, it becomes hydra headed, they start to gripe, blaming the FG for the evil they nurture in their backyards. If the other tribes chook mouth on their mounting violence, they will respond with insufferable abuse and curse.

Therefore, na dere toro, let dem find solution for it.

I'm not disputing the fact that it's dangerous for the Citizens to open their shops on Monday , yeah you are right , the security needs to be beefed up to give them more assurance .

My grouse is these Igbo leaders , Billionaires and big names , home and Abroad like Peter Obi , Ezekwesili , Okonjo (Mrs) , Chimamanda, P-Square etc ,, they have not come out to condemn the incessant killings of the gun men , illegal and treasonable activities of IPOB or the fact that the constant sit at home is killing their Economy or condemn the killings of security operatives , they have kept quiet giving the body language that they support it indirectly so as to pepper the Federal Government .

But let a cat eat a mouse in Lagos or other parts of the Country and see them baring their fangs with so much energy, crying foul and proffering. solutions. They like pointing at the Sam Larry in people's eyes while neglecting the Shekau in their own eyes ...

And hey , I'm in South East currently for a year now and engage your people regularly ,, none of y'all like claiming responsibility for the insecurity or stagnation , all they know is Federal Government, Tinubu , Buhari and Nigeria .

stop lying. verify and research before you post. also no region is peaceful at the moment. only few states like Lagos, PHC, Abuja are the safest. You should be very worried that the corridors of safety are narrowing to only those 3 states

The sweetest part is the real igbo man loves his brother n doesn't have time for Nigeria politics but busy improving himself independently. The others are either generally agberos or almajiri.
