Your opinions are not good for public consumption. It is silly to have such comments passed on a good analysis done by an independent citizen that simply points out how public funds should not be wasted.
You need more education, a broader knowledge and a better sense of judgement. Regardless, you are an adult and you can choose to be perpetually stupid.

Don't bother... He and his ilk are perpetually stupid.

They are the ones that give all educated young people a bad name even among foreigners.

Such despicable low level of reasoning is almost satanic and diabolical.

There are many better things private investor can be allowed to invest on that will show significant value like lekki deep sea port. I'm not saying its not a good project but lagos is not ripe for that. I dont think any apartment in Eko Atlantic will be as low as 3m. Start from 20m and above.

FIXED!!!

More than a third of Nigerian states don't need airports... They have more pressing things such funds can be channeled into.

Let's learn to speak against such shocking wastages.

The construction of US consulate is not a new information. The economic benefit of the billions spent on eko atlantic city has giving lagos zero or no value as at today when other important project like monorails and 4rth mainland bridge are either been slowed down or postponed.

What else do we call a white elephant project?

With alot of bad roads around lagos and security challenge still affecting business in the state lol.
Na city for the rich dem go pump billions on.
You don't even know the project is a private funded project, but, you're here speaking as if you know anything about the privately funded project.

There's numerous construction going on in the city, but you don't expect me to know the name of the buildings under construction. The best thing is for you to go there and see things for yourself instead of making a fool of yourself on nairaland.

Construction is going on in Eko Atlantic city, go and look at things yourself. Stop relying on bullshits you read online.

Look at the way you're making a fool of yourself now, you do not even know the project is a private owned project.

Listen my bro no pun intended.

Th east focused on production immediately after the war because if what they went through.

ABA alone produces most things in your house hold today with Chinese names .

Anambra started production and This was not done under obi it was there after the war let's add okay say brewery. Where is the Nigerian brewing company located? Is it because igbos are drunks ? No.

Funds generation.

Down to the shore of Crossriver the East now produce food in large quantities.

Why I mentioned ABA and Anambra is because now they have secured economic power in away via production.

Ask yourself why would the government be angry if some group of nonsense dot in a circle sit at home for just one day .

I implore you to do a simple math tomorrow, go to balogun market in Lagos price a Jean it should be cheaper like say 3500-4k stock.

You can pay that transport take that same jean to Abuja,PH, Kaduna etc and sell for 7k .

Now go to Onitsha you will buy that same jean 3500-4k stock something you probably might have spent just 3k transport to Onitsha to buy from Benin.

You will spend 20k transport to go buy it in Lagos and at the end same price.

HOW ?

For those who don't understand the meaning of white elephant.

It just simply means bojo boju. The more you look the less you see .

Of course they are beautiful oh so precious, but the purpose of building it is useless because it will eventually end up in ruins .

First on the list we start with bobo Chicago Dubai.

When you ask the Ronu nomenclatures what did Bola do in Lagos them go dey do erhmm ermmm.

OGA what did he do ? Erhmmmm but he build Eco Atlantic.

Now Eco Atlantic is a white elephant project.

To even start with it's not for the common man , middle class or what you classify as rich .

Only super rich.

To make you understand a rent in eco Atlantic for one of the semi building partially completed is more than 3 million for 1 bedroom flat.

Uncompleted building o.

Lagos - Perennially uncompleted, environmentally unsustainable, hilariously expensive, private-sector-led-but-distinctly-Ajaokuta-esque, Tesco-value Dubai off the coast of Victoria Island.

Looks sexy in its glossy Autocad renders though.

You want to buy a car first make sure you are capable to fuel it .

But you brain unfortunately can't understand.

See the screenshot below.

Even Enugu before the war there war a rail system linking the north from Enugu, the government says new ones won't be built but to improve that old line .

So, according to the same you, there was already a rail system linking the north to Enugu as far back as even before 1960 meaning that this isn't a matter of trying to buy a car before having the means of fueling it, yet the same you have been desperately pretending that a local rail system that connects towns and cities within each state amounts to the same? Thank you for this wonderful pieces...

I love the fact that you are touched every part of Nigeria, so that some people won't start their tribal war here..

It a shame to all our politicians, most of the money that was supposed to be used for something better, and better the life of the citizens is what they are using to finance unrealistic and abandoned project...

There's is just to sleep wake up and find a way to do imaginary project that would made them siphon 80% of the money into their private account...

Nigeria no fit better, make we no lie, even the extremely rich people are also finding option of getting a second citizen in another country...
