Babatunde Fafunwa was also UNN VC in 1967. Igbos don't even care about these things but yorubas have been crying about igbo VC of UNILAG and UI

Are they the only accommodating region? Did they go to East and was asked to leave because they are from the west or what narrative is the accommodating thing?
You just heard of the late prof as once V.C of UNN, that was how things used to be until Awo travelled the road of; I am a Yorubaman, Zik is an Igboman, vote for me. And all the trust was dashed away with such tribal campaign.

The West should really reduce their nepotistic view to life. It's the real reason they don't like traveling outside their region to reside in other people's place, just very few of them do.

RIP Prof Umaru. He was my VC before Prof Frank Odili took over. He was a complete gentleman.
