E-Ticketing should be the best solution and the train services should have suggestion boxes accessable only to top management.

Guest what, they stop manifest from Moniya Station Ibadan. I made trouble with them, complained to the Station Manager, Moniya Ibadan even escalated it to the police station at the station, on why will you carry so much people without Manifest, nothing happened. It's a cartel. Urgent action needs to be taken

Why is it difficult to evolve a payment system that will make it difficult for operators to perpetrate fraud? It was ticket racketeering with Kaduna/Abuja line during Amechi's time.
Can't they use the BRT model in Lagos to make payment to avoid fraud and eliminate wickedness and greed in this sector ni. I am tired of this kleptomaniac tendencies from our people.

the Lagos blue and red tail uses cowry card. No card no access to train... The same cowry card is used on brt and any Lagos state govt transportation system. Get your fact right

It won't still work, it would only increase the price for bribes. Nigerians are too corrupt beyond imagination.

The only way to reduce this by 80% is to remove reasons to steal. The right for luxury or private properties must be removed for Nigeria and Africa to move forward. We are naturally born that way in this part of the world.

If you check very well, you will discover that 95% of those embezzled public fund are using it to acquire properties. Infact, life would've been so simple and enjoyable by everyone if we don't think of accumulating properties. This is the secrete of developed western countries.

Ode, Blue rail uses cowry card. Everything is electronic. Blue rail is owned and controlled by Lagos state LAMATA. You think the Lagos government is dumb, they think of new ways to generate revenue in their sleep so you can't cheat them.

This is the Federal Lagos-Ibadan standard gauge run by the Nigeria Railway Corporation. Buhari built it. There is Raji Fashola station at agege, Soyinka station at Abeokuta and the Awolowo station in Ibadan where this happened. On national trains the ticket office collects cash before u go and board. Just like Abuja-Kaduna rail.

FG needs to go electronic. I trust tinubus government to do the needful.

How do the cooperation survive with this illegality?

I usually said it that Nigeria problem of corruption has become societal issues.

It's a societal problem.

Nigeria can never be a good country, the damage we citizens are doing to this country is more than what our leaders are doing. We always contributes to the downfall of this country then we blames our government for everything. For Nigeria to be a great nation, it has to start from everyone of us.

Corruption everywhere. You people have started and that is how they will ruin the Railway and very soon be declaring loss. Please can cash collection be discouraged totally. Let it either card or QRCode that can be use to ticket. Otherwise, we are going back to the days of Nigeria Airways.
