Supreme Court Reserves Judgement On Nnamdi Kanu's Case Until December 15 by Metrix147: 11:26am On Oct 05, 2023
The embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has urged the Supreme Court of Nigeria to uphold the ruling of the Appeal Court discharging and acquitting him of all terror-related charges, ABN TV reports.

Kanu through his lead counsel, Kanu Godwin Agabi SAN told the court that his client is innocent of the allegations against him, urging the court to free him.

The prosecuting counsel however urged the court to set aside the court of appeal judgement and allow Nnamdi Kanu to stand trial for the previous charges held at the Federal high court against him.

Judgement was reserved till the 15th of December.

Nigeria is a lawless country

May GOD CONTINUE TO guide and protect you my leader

Modified…. TO all the kids quoting me… The only reason why MNK is still in detention is because the SOUTH EAST leaders and politicians want him in Detention…

They are all afraid of his growing popularity and influence….

The moment south east politicians speak up MNK will be out

Take my words to the bank

Mumu.

Yeah it is a Lawless country because in most countries a known terrorist like this who openly advocated for arms against the Nigerian state and its people would have been sentenced to death by now.
In fact in a normal society, no one with an ounce of common sense will even have the audacity to ask for such criminal to be released.
Nigeria is indeed a Lawless country.

Another 8 years in detention. Too sure.

Another Northern President inherits him after that. He stays for another 8years.

His people should get more angry, kill and eat each other the more. We don't give a rat's ass down here.

This Is exactly what Nnamdi Kanu wanted all along. He wants to be like Nelson Mandela.

I am sure he'll be happy to spend more years in prison for freedom than Nelson Mandela and become the new face of FREEDOM in Africa and the world.

Lamidi Cownu committed treason thus must be given the penalty for treason which is death. Anything less than that will make animal like Simon Ekpa continues to constitute nuisance.

This delay tactics shows that the federal government does not want peace in Igbo land.

However, the struggle continues. The Igbo politicians are the greatest fo0ls ever known. Though they are not in charge of the SE. The people are in charge of SE

God bless supreme court. The idiat should be kept behind bar as long as possible. If released by the supreme Court, they should re-arrest again for creating the nuisance called UGM/ESN.

Another has taken his place. In some countries, they will eliminate him so that d new king will have more power to rule.

Revolutionaries don't plead in captivity. Gery Rawlings motivated his men from prison. Mandela and Awolowo wrote books in prison and they refuse to back down.

Kanu is weak .

Good but I wonder why it's that long. His case should be considered on merit and he be given fair hearing too.

The victims of his violent rhetorics deserve justice and must get justice from the system and the Nigerian Federal Government.

Count 13
Mr Kanu also allegedly between 2018 and 2021 made a broadcast received and heard in Nigeria with intent to incite violence, in furtherance of an act of terrorism against Nigeria and its people, directed members of the public to burn down every federal facility in Lagos resulting in major economic loss to the federal government.

The alleged offences, the prosecution says, are punishable under section 1(2) of the Terrorism (Prevention) Amendment) Act 2013.
