Well since you are the epitome of poverty, and you think the way you think...then leave your family and go and sort your life. Clearly no one can speak to you. Your situation is not the worst and it wont be the worst. Look for another family if yours aint enough...but if you are ready to listen to others...we will advice you to finish your school against all odds...be the best you can be even in public schools and you will find favour with God and men like some of us did.

You are myopic. If your parents could afford to feed you at least once a day, including sending you to school, then you were never poor. There are many kids today who don't even have access to one square meal, talk of going to school. They were abandoned to fend for themselves from an early age. They end up being beggars or thieves. I repeat, you know nothing about poverty because you are from a middle class family. I'm not saying you didn't face challenges, but there are levels.

Life deals with everybody from different angles with its many tentacles. Some are lucky to be dealt with soft, lovely, and gentle palms, while others struggle between the claws, fangs, and teeth of life.

This thought will make you start developing minute hatred for your family and lineage by the time the thoughts lead to a series of questions upon questions.

This disadvantage has an all-round strength and capacity to wither your dreams and ambitions. It's a sad one.

But you can't continue to murmur and lament about your family background and situation. Your family too has their trials and temptations; they have their mistakes and poor decisions, and you can't blame them forever if you see yourself as human as them. They too never wished for the lives they are living.

Henceforth, what you should ponder on is how to upheave yourself above the mess you are in due to genetic concatenation + the cesspool of a nation/continent due to the geographical distribution of nature.

Think of how to leverage.

There's unfairness, prejudice, inequality, and injustice in the land. However, look for the advantages in all of them, in any situation, and endeavor to push yourself out of it.

It's not an easy journey. But don't exit without a trial.

That still does not take away from the fact that you were deprived of so many opportunities by the fact that your parents chose to have you in poverty. That is the case for over 100,000,000 Nigerians today.

Yet this supreme being of yours continues to fail even your fellow Nigerians to the point that over 140 million in Nigeria today with so many dying like flies each day.

It seems what you are instead attempting to say here is that birthing a child in poverty— when you clearly realize you have nothing to offer as far as giving this child advantages and opportunities to succeed in life —, an act that can be considered wicked/evil given the foreknowledge here, is somehow African?

One thing way we no dey understand b say the universe no dey partial or biased. i no know how i wan take explain am for u but d truth b say if you get gratitude for your mind and you decide to wake up. i bet u say everyth way u need to blow dey all around you. I bin dey on guest mode but i just breeze in to drop my comment.

check all those guys way don shake the world in one way or the other. baba na from abject poverty dem come from. Sadio Mane, check him story abi na Messi way dem carry all the way from south america come crown am king for europe. no tell me say na their environment help them oo, cos for naija here sef very poor boys don blow. no b by hustle oo. na ur mentality go break the chains for you. i bin dey write about me for this platform but i decide close am as i never reach where i wan land but to be honest i dey ok small because i no dey lack 1 bit.

God go punish our religious leaders for this country because dem follow dem deceive ppl. the truth to success dey very simple.

Humble yourself. Be ready to take insult without getting angry or moody. be ready to learn and be good at whatever you do. be grateful all the time. no wish person bad. no jealous person. no spoil person own for back. No let person turn you to robot(make u no allow them decide for u, have a mind of your own and believe in you. lastly no live to impress anybody. not even God.

1. Stop telling these lies to individuals! That a hand full of people were able to break through does not mean the over 140 million Nigerian today still stuck in the pangs of poverty are there because they were not grateful or did not do their best. Please stop feeding these emotionally blackmailing lies to others abeg!

2. You cast down religion yet what you are doing... pretending poverty is something that has to do withe whether one is grateful enough or humble enough, etc. is exactly what religion preaches to people... the same brain damage.. Are you kidding?
