The Islamic cleric, after narrating his opinion, posed a question, saying "What's the way out." Prominent Islamic cleric, Sheik Mansur Sokoto, has said that Islam is endangered by the proceedings of the governorship legal tussles of Taraba and Nasarawa states in the Northern region of Nigeria

Mansur said this in a Facebook post he titled “Islam and Northern Arewa” in Hausa language, where .cbb.fv shared his reflection. He said, "Review of the governorship legal tussles of some states these days is worrisome. If Taraba and Nasarawa fall to non-Muslims, then Islamic religion will be endangered." The Islamic cleric, after narrating his opinion, posed a question, saying "What's the way out."

SaharaReporters had earlier in the week reported that the Governorship Elections Petition Tribunal sitting in Lafia sacked Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and declared Mr David Ombugadu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the rightful winner of the election. The majority judgment was read by Justice Ezekiel Ajayi, Chairman of the tribunal.

Justice Chiemelie Onaga, a member of the panel, agreed with the lead judgment read by the panel chairman. He said that the judgment was a temporary setback that they would learn from in order to restrategise and come out stronger.

The only dissenting judgment was delivered by Justice Ibrahim Mashi, who dismissed the petition filed by the PDP candidate and upheld the declaration of the governor by the INEC.

In his reaction on Monday, the governor had said, “I still remain the governor till Supreme Court decides otherwise because the law allows me to appeal and we will do that to reclaim our mandate.”

Also on Saturday, it was reported that the Taraba State Governorship Election Tribunal affirmed that Agbu Kefas of the Peoples Democratic Party is the validly elected governor of Taraba State.

The three-man panel dismissed the petition filed by the New Nigerian People’s Party and its candidate Prof. Sani Yahaya for lacking in merit. The panel of justices of the tribunal said the petition challenging the election of Kefas lacks merit and consequently dismissed it.

At a special prayer session organised by Muslim clerics in Kano, Northwest, Nigeria, for the success of Bola Tinubu's candidacy, Auwal informed that the Tinubu/Shettima’s Muslim/Muslim ticket had defined the supremacy of Islam.

A Nigerian Islamic preacher, Abdulmutallab Mohammed Auwal, has charged Muslims to consider the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its Muslim/Muslim ticket as a call to Jihad.

At a special prayer session organised by Muslim clerics in Kano, Northwest, Nigeria, for the success of Bola Tinubu's candidacy, Auwal informed that the Tinubu/Shettima’s Muslim/Muslim ticket had defined the supremacy of Islam. He, accordingly urged all Muslim voters, to overwhelmingly vote the Tinubu/ Shettima, Muslim/Muslim ticket on the day of election.

"This meeting was convened by our group, Islamic Preachers and we've invited about 75 Muslim groups, including the Kaduna State Izala and the Jos (Plateau state) Izala, the Salafiya, Kadariya, IMWAN, Muslims in Da'awa, Women in Da'awa. Also here are groups like Yoruba and Igbo Muslim groups. Last but not the least, we have here the Kano Imams' group.

"The import of today's sitting is to let the clerics and indeed all Muslim leaders know that the Muslim/ Muslim ticket is not about mere promises of bringing dividends of democracy like road and infrastructure. This ticket is about the supremacy of Islam. This ticket has honoured Islam. Therefore, we'll honour it with our ballots.

"Furthermore, remember that a Muslim is always better than an infidel. What more of two Muslims combined? This informed why we undertook to create this awareness and to let all of us know that this Muslim/Muslim ticket is a jihad call to all Muslims," Auwal said.

Another cleric, who is the leader of Izala sect in Kano, Sheikh Abdallah Saleh Pakistan, disclosed that Tinubu had over a long time promoted the enthronement of a Muslim/Muslim candidate.

He said, "We've discussed extensively on how this candidate (Tinubu) has for a long time strived to actualise the Muslim/Muslim ticket. He paired Nuhu Ribadu with a Muslim Yoruba back then and was also instrumental to the Abiola/Kingibe, Muslim/Muslim ticket."

On his part, Kano State Governor, Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, asserted that the Tinibu/Shettima ticket would be supported by all Muslims, insisting that the practice was not new in the country.

"Muslim/Muslim ticket is not new to Nigeria. The Abiola/Kingibe Muslim/Muslim was overwhelmingly voted Muslims and it succeeded. Unfortunately a military junta nullified the victory. Another opportunity is here and thank God we're now in democracy; no one can annul the election," Ganduje averred.

But it is very unfortunate that the Fulani has not had the same “live and let live” approach to other ethnic Nationalities in Nigeria.

The Fulani concept of living is that others have to die, so that the Fulani may live.As far as the Fulani are concerned, other peoples of other ethnic nationalities are second rate slaves to be used, dumped, maimed, raped or killed for the good of the Fulani man.

The Fulani see Nigeria as his great grandfather’s inheritance to be toyed with as he wishes and as he wants. This attitude of Fulani makes him believe that he has to rule wherever he is, regardless of his comparative intelligence and capability to that of his host among other reasons.

“I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria”, God willing, we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country”

....The spread of Sharia is ‘’a legal responsibility which God has given us, within the context of one Nigeria to continue to uphold the practice of Sharia whole-heartedly and to educate non-Muslims.

What remains for muslims in Nigeria is for them to redouble their efforts,educate muslims on the need to promote the full implementation of sharia law” Buhari has made his advocacy for sharia clear, those who wish to vote him to power can either accept it or pretend that it does not matter,
