that should be our best midfield trio
I can picture a diamond midfield formation from this, in a 4-2-3-1 formation . I would rather go for a creative attacking midfielder at the tip. I saw what Ndidi did today in the English championships but we know when it comes to the national team it is a different ball game. I will rather confine Ndidi to his traditional DM position.

But he's been consistent than any of his competition..
Not a one season wonder
the better striker has always finished a serie a season with double figures each season despite injuries and still has a golden boot to cap it. He is so good he doesn't need someone to beg for him to be hyped.

No wonder I didn't see him in the Nottingham Forest squad today.

I guess Akor or Orban to be called up in his place.

First time watching Nwakali up close and I've been impressed sha, hopefully Peseiro calls him up to replace Onyedika (who is said to be injured)
This is even a far below par level of Kelechi Nwakali. On his day, he is a joy to watch. His strength lies in his close control and ability to read spaces. His Between Line Passes are also top notch.

I hope the current manager is building the side to play more possessively because Kelechi Nwakali can pull over 80 touches per game with high passing accuracy.

He has been horrible at Milan. Super low in confidence, not decisive enough. Even his dribbling has been so ineffective, not to talk about end product. He needs to add that aggressiveness and directness guys like Salah and Saka have.

Mujtahida:
TheGoodJoe, Chriskels, charlesemeka85, Icon4s, Kog45, what do you guys think of a technical approach where a coach deploys a destroyer at the tip of the midfield trio (with one CAM) to disrupt and put pressure on the opponents defense as well as deploy another destroyer at the base of the defense to shield the back four/three
As in Ndidi as destroyer(midfield attacking destroyer) at the tip. Iwobi as CAM and Onyeka as CDM?

Nice but as football progresses, a team that can not control the game with passes will get left out in the long run.

Football needs to move with trend. We need someone who can seat deep and control play with passes. And can push forward to help give a passing base for the offensive passing set up.

A destroyer works if you are facing a side that relies on individual plays. If you are facing a well organized side, the team will get played out.

We need a controller at the base. Ndidi has to run the half spaces. He has the stamina and tactical training for it. Iwobi can certainly run the other channel. He is good at passing into the final third and breaking defense with tricks. But my preferred three will be Onyedika, Ndidi and Nwakali. That is in the near future.

Be like Kompany no learn work finish. He needs to go back and do another 6 months internship with Pep. Na Katikati football em dey play no be tikitaka.
On the contrary, I think Kompany is doing fine tactically. He is just let himself down by underestimating the strength of the EPL and didn't really build a strong squad.

They are set up well, defending in a nice tactical pattern. However, player quality to execute is poor.

He needs to refresh the team with some high quality experience players in some critical positions and he can pull off an escape from relegation.

Why not play the tactic that suits his current players? This is just an excuse.

So many players have scored loads in one season and faded after that.

Ifeanyi Matthew, Nwakali and Folorunsho are the remaining midfielders that will complete our midfield along with Iwobi, Ndidi, Fisayo, Onyeka/Onyedika

Aribo should be benched or dropped until he picks up form.

Oh I saw the whole thing but really surprised such statements came out from Pinnick who should have allowed things to be done officially

Yes Davido messed up and to me he should be dealt with for failing to turn up for a show he was paid to perform.

Amaju bringing in Warri,Itsekiri,RMD,especially
Burnaboy to drive his point was wrong and this negate his personality as a public figure.

If Davido is behaving like kindergarten boy Amaju shouldn’t have turned himself to Adult boy.

Seems Nwakali was subbed out in the 59th minute after his team just equalized, was he injured? Or did the coach feel he needed other players to see off the remaining 31 mins? After the substitution, his team.went on to win by 4-2, scoring two more goals after his exit. For me, being subbed off at 59 minutes as a midfielder doesn't speak well except he's injured ot the coach is trying to preserve him.

He was replaced by Pinho, possibly due to tactical reasons and the team went ahead with two more goals despite played last minutes with ten men.Nwakali had an assist for Hector Hernandez who later got hatrick and based on 59 minutes on the field he had 7.4 rating

I watched the match and he did very well with assist but I need some broader analysis on stats which some always saying is not conclusive in rating players and to some that’s the yardstick.

Remember I said Hector Hernandez was the best Chaves player which you disagreed.Doctor TheSuperNerd brought rating out which showed I was wronged based on stats but going through Chaves rating on whoscored I saw Baptista Santos (Jo) who had 87 mins played this season on 7th position, based on this are we rating Jo as the 7th best Chaves player this season despite not making the team?

Sir,do you still rate Nwakali as the best Chaves player ahead of Hector Hernandez who is like what is Osimhen to Napoli in Chaves or is Osimhen not Napoli best player based on stats available on fotmob, sofascore and whoscored

Aribo for now has no business with eagles and if care is not taken am seeing another Keita who did nothing in Europe to make 2010 WC over Seyi Olofinjana, and what happened his unprofessional conduct ruined our chances.

I think when player is off form he should be excused for performing player who does it week in week out.

If I have my way I will invite either Nwakali or Ifeanyi Mathew not even Folorunsho Michael.

Yeah I think 4-2-3-1 is a good idea. Better than the idea I am toying with. National team appears not to be the place for radical experimentation.
