TheSuperNerd:Mind you I don’t even know much about Awoniyi stats details than sensational headlines like wise other players. What you guys brings here is what I rely on most but I needed to go deep on stats regarding Chaves cus it was your referenced in our last discourse My point here is this current season not last season If you believed Osimhen is the best and Hector is not the best in Chaves even go by last season then something is amiss. |

Kog45:Lol... too much talking twists. Mister Kog, you said without proper research that Hector was Chaves' Best player so far this season and TheGoodJoe and I opposed such notion because it shows you aren't exactly watching enough of Chaves this season. It's funny how you claim to have watched Chaves games and even labelled Nwakali as average in two of those games when he actually did above average. I proved it from a Stats perspective as well aside eye test. Stats ratings were brought in to prove a point then that a midfielder having higher ratings at that point in the season already than a striker you call the best shows that you were wrong. Now you are here bringing it back because Hector scored a Hattrick. Ofcos his ratings were gonna go up. He is a striker. The POINT is Nwakali has been far more crucial to Chaves this season so far than Hector. Even in the last game where he bagged a hattrick just yesterday, Hector made the least touches of all players on the pitch to play 90mins. He wasn't as influential in other phases of plays. See below...

And on this season, with respect to Osimhen, I haven't even said anything. I quoted last season's stats for him and Kvara to prove my point. I clearly referred to his record breaking season, last season. But since you want to use the current season... Then let me ask you... who is Napoli's best player this season so far? Especially with Kvara only recently breaking his drought in their last 2 league games after a 19 games goal drought for an attacking winger. So who is it since you want to use that to water down Nwakali's influence on that Chaves team? Answer. Kog45: |

TheSuperNerd:This post alone should have ended the argument but Kog45 wants to prove a point because of a hattrick. 😁😁

Chukwueze horrible at Milan? No end products? lol! I am certain you don't watch Milan games! Against Cagliari and Newcastle he was clearly Milan best player in the first 45 minutes. Gave Loftus and Musah two very good balls they should have scored from. Against Castle Leo went for a backheel instead of a simple pass to Chuks to score. Yesterday in the first two minutes, he gave Okafor a fantastic pass that put him 1v1 with the goal keeper but Okafor failed to simply trap the ball. Chukwueze goals will come. When you have a guy like Pulisic that just seems to fail at everything except the most important things (scoring goals) you can begin doubting yourself. Chukwueze had better dribbles, better passes but the Milan players simply fails to convert his passes to goals. Yes, he has not being outstanding but he has been good! drDoom3: |

Meanwhile.... Raphael Onyedika is in ACTION in Belgium. Seems to have shaken off that knock he picked up vs Bodø Glimt in the Europa Conference League. |

AndSunGorilla:Keep in mind that Chaves is a team not versed in playing creatively. To control the game and maintain possession under a fury of attacks, it takes more than one player. So it is best in such situations to select a group that purely defend and hit the ball to spaces for counters. It does not tell negatively of the player being removed. |

Bayern Leverkusen plays one of the best football style in the world this season. They will win the Bundesliga this season. I'll come back to this comment by the end of the season |

Victor Boniface type of striker is rare. The guy dey dribble like Okocha That's Osimhen best Partnership if we're going with 442 |

That is one thing I don't like when discussing our youngsters. It is only very few who can make the step up immediately (e.g. Chukwueze when he broke out) but most of them need time to mature their game to a certain level. Also, profiling of talents is very important for me and watching them grow to a level where even I can say, "...you know what, we need to be looking at this kid for the NT ASAP". It is step by step. Arithmetic progress not geometric in most cases. charlesemeka85: |

TheSuperNerd:the problem with those who hype these players do that because of their past exploits in youth football and not base on current form The person that made the recommendation haven’t even seen Tijani play for Salzburg before been shipped out on loan to his current club now 🤣🤣🤣🤣 |

TheGoodJoe:How do you get outnumbered in the midfied when you have Ndidi, Onyedika and Iwobi in that order as listed in the previous post? |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by charlesemeka85(m): 3:18pm On Oct 08, 2023 |
Tolulopefinest:why re you guys sticking to an outdated formation just to accommodate osimhen and any of bony, awo or nacho Jpes greatest undoing will be trying to accommodate all of our attacking players just to please the fans. No serious team plays the 442 formation anymore Even England blessed with Kane, watkins and co starts only Kane upfront while others comes in as subs in the second half if need arises |
