You mean the same Tinubu that was a supporter and financier of the Buhari elections? Then we are in for a rough time.

Tinubu used Buhari. Even he admitted as much. First to snatch power from the PDP. Secondly to become president.

Within months of Buhari ascending power in 2015, Tinubu realized Buhari was incompetent. He never realized he would be this bad.

Okay ask.your governor about the money giving to them for palliative. What did they do with the money. Everything should not be federal.

We are talking about building a strong economy this one is talking about palliative. Maybe you don't know that palliatives are mostly given during humanitarian crises and it's not a strategy to build a strong economy.

What rubbish palliative are you talking about? Is it the palliative of a cup of rice and 1kg of groundnut oil distributed to certain people in their political fold. How does palliative remove the hardship which the poorly planned and poorly executed economic policies of the government of Tinubu as plunged over 200 million people into

But the rest of us realized how bad it was. How come he did not realize. How can we trust someone who did not realize the damage Buhari was doing.
Then in 2019 election he still had not realized the damage? Nigeria is in for a long thing.
Clearly, he was to selfish, thinking of his personal gain that he did not care how badly the country was being destroyed by Buhari.

how much is dollar now
Compare with old price
It's the same value
Ppl are just unproductive
throughout 16 years of Pdp,1 dollar never reach 1k before. You keep defending failures in APC government, you will always receive the same results of failures in APC government. Do the same thing and same policies will never turn things around in government.

The last thing many Amala people will do is to agther enough courage to admit that Tinubu has done more damage to the economy than what Buhari did. At least under Buhari the dollar never got to N1000 to $1. By December we should be talking about N1200 to $1.

Whether Tinubu supported Buhari or not for a second term would not matter, PMB was the man to beat.

His unassailable strength up North was unbeatable in addition to the average showing he received I'm many parts of the South sealed it for him.

Was Tinubu selfish? No.

Was he self serving? Yes

So it doesn't matter if we support a corrupt evil man right? I was much younger in 2014 but I knew that Buhari was going to destroy Nigerian economy. Tinubu is much older and far far more experienced, do you truly feel he was ignorant of Buhari's abilities?
Hope you know that it was not Buhari's first time at power.

Hope you know that if Buhari had lost in the SW in 2019, he would have lost the election.

Your point is that Tinubu believed that if you can't beat them join them.

Also you claim he was one of the few people that didn't know the extent Buhari was destroying Nigeria when almost everyone knew. Your own words are making Tinubu look more evil and incapable to govern.

You said Tinubu is self serving, well here is the definition of self serving.
serving one's own interests often in disregard of the truth or the interests of others.

In this case, Tinubu interest was against the good of the common Nigerian.

Only the hopelessly naive and simple minded will be deceived by what you have written.

Nigerians can't afford to buy fuel to power their cars...and yet the 'first son' flew on a presidential plane to watch a polo tournament. Note that he didn't use any of his father's private aircraft. He made sure to use the official plane...just because he can.

BAT has just appointed more media aides to fight his propaganda wars. They will be paid hefty salaries and allowances...to tell you and other longsuffering Nigerians that black is white and white is black.

Good luck with your motivational speeches.

They have paid the media not to report collapse of national grid anymore

Yes, without Southwest votes and perhaps from other parts as well, he wouldn't have won the election. Buharis weakness was in the South and that's why an alliance was formed. Tinubu had to sacrifice the vice presidency position so that Buhari could win the election.

I doubt Tinubu knew how disastrous Buhari would be. An APC stalwart said glimpse of it flashed before their eyes when Buhari in his inauguration speech said "I belong to everyone, and I belong to no one." That statement apparently crushed Tinubu. Basically, Buhari would run the government the way he felt fit and owed no political debts to those who brought him to power. He waa going to sideline many who brought him to power or at least curb their influence.

He showed that by appointing Fashola as a super minister. Fashola had by now been Tinubu's arch foe, so it was a stab in the back.

Buhari's failure came back to haunt him. I am certain he did not want Tinubu, a politician with so much sleaze hanging over him to takeover. I'm sure his preference would have been his squeaky clean vice president. The currency redesign was solely for the purpose of frustrating cash rich politicians from buying their way to power.

I am sure if not Osinbajo, he might have preferred Peter Obi. Tinubu alleged the redesign policy specially targeted at him

However, Buhari couldn't nominate a candidate as he had lost all credibility. He gradually caved him to Tinubu's "emi lokan" speech. He allowed the political process take its course

And Tinubu didn't use Lagos money to fund his election abi? Oga stop being stupid abeg. Palliative was given after election and it has nothing to do with the post and why we are arguing.

Those who live in denial of self and reality. You deceived yourself and lived in this fool's paradise shouting Sai Baba for Eight good years. Tinubu came and told that he will continue from where Buhari stopped and consolidate on it... The summary of all these, Tinubu made sacrifices for himself and for Buhari that ended up destroying Nigeria.

He did it because he wanted to be president.
