Abdul Samad Rabiu, the Chairman of BUA Group has donated N2Billion to rebuild the iconic Zaria Central Mosque.

The over 150-year-old Central Mosque located in Zaria, a part of Zazzau Emirate Council, Kaduna State collapsed on Friday, August 11, 2023, resulting in deaths and injuries for some worshipers.

The BUA Group chairman made the donation on Saturday at the official ceremony of the reconstruction fund while urging other stakeholders to be part of the rebuilding of the historic central mosque by coming together as a united front fostering unity and progress.

“In supporting this effort we are not on preserving something of historical significance but also investing in education and empowerment of people within the Zazzau emirate and other parts of Nigeria” the BUA Chairman who is getting widespread commendation for the reduction of the price of BUA Cement to N3500 stated at the ceremony.

The price reduction is on the face of the general price of N5500.

The BUA Chairman made the N2Billion donation on behalf of himself, his family, and ASR Africa Initiative – the foundation making high-impact interventions across the continent – as part of the process of “building a foundation for a better and brighter future”.

Among other interventions in security, health, education, and social development with 10 billion Naira in grants of 2.5 billion Naira each to 4 States as part of the scheme, ASR Africa Initiative founded by Abdul Samad Rabiu started the construction of a N2.5Billion Oncology Centre in Ilorin, Kwara state on Friday, October 6, 2023.

Two billion to rebuild mosque..you people can now confirm my point about this people.
The north is proudly brandishing the Hold medal in out if children competition in the world today yet, no means of free education just like Rochas did.
There is little or no social intervention programmes to emilorate the condition of an average northern citizen suffering and yet again, they have the richest Nigrrains in the country...They have money to buld Mosque and dash free wife's but no means to feed the women just to populate the north for electorial advantage...UNA MUST LEARN LESSON

Rockefeller or Andrew Carnegie you will see how this fellow used their wealth to help the poor in the states..This fellow contributed to the advancement in the Americans education system which you will go to church and host a heavy thanks giving if you or any of your siblings were given Visas to be there.

People like you will not lend your voice to condeme evil but will be the ones to saturate the media space when Nigeria happens to you..Our people should learn to give to the society in a more productive way and not for some frivolious and parochial reasons that will do is no good.

The British after world war two set up a committe to look into the ways of introducing welfair packages for their citizens as part of measures to check growing poverty associated with the effect of the war and one of the argument by one of the statesmen was that"A single child in the street,is a threat to British society". So this postulate lead to the need for wefaire packages most of you enjoy in the UK today, as NHIS and others.

Here in the north, they breed an Army of out of school children, an Army of fatherless children and you want to have peace, tranquility and progress..How is that possible? BUA has done for the society creating jobs and many more humanitarian dids, what more do you want.
D. Rockefeller was a business man, he did with his money what he pleased, every thing he did was to expand his business empire, it's profit first, are you saying BUA doesn't know how to make profit? Or he is stupid for doing what he is doing?
