The movie was unnecessary.

It takes me like 2 days to watch any mission impossible movies. I started this current one yesterday. I have seen The Burial and Ijogbon in-between it and I'm still yet to finish.

I haven't watched this, but if it was truly said, I don't think he was wrong. The movie is set in the 80's, and Nigeria in that period that a few theaters

Just going to drop this quick measure for reference cos, apparently, different opinions are flying.

If you thought Expendables 3 was bad or not that good, Expend4bles makes it look like a masterpiece in comparison.

They had some guts releasing that movie in a cinema. It should've gone straight to DVD. And then those DVDs should've been distributed for free.

Statham is really a stand-up guy, cos at his level, I for done leave that movie set dey go house halfway through shooting.

TLDR: Go into Expend4bles expecting it to be terrible. With expectations that low, you might actually be entertained.

I didnt know what to expect when I started it, when the CIA guy came and started talking about getting kinikan, the script was just too cliche.

At least change it up a little, I just exited it and dont think I will be going back.

Disappointed.

I'm not sure anyone went into The Expendables 4 expecting something other than a generic action movie.

The entire plot and mission was nonsensical...the writers didn't even bother to write up a compelling threat...they would just spew random nonsense and end it with something like "if he's not stopped, a lot of people will die"


However Jason Statham did enough to carry the movie to a 5-5.5/10 in my opinion...

Without the performance of Jason Statham, the movie is easily a 1/10...

The so called plot twist abi reveal sef at the end was something everyone could see a mile away...

November 21 is still far. If not for Nolan's wahala, we should have already watched and dissected this movie by now

The Expendables series has always been a collection of action movie clichés, spiced up with some of the actors who made those clichés popular featuring.

That we went in expecting the usual generic action plot and clichés does not excuse that horrible execution.

Sure, we weren't expecting the movie to be great giving what we'd seen from the trailers and news surrounding it but we definitely didn't expect it to be that level of garbage.
