Forgery is now institutionalised.

Easyincome24:
You can imagine agent for house rent giving you bill like:

House rent - ₦2.5m

Service charge- ₦500k

Agreement- 10%

Commission - 10%

Damages - 10%.

Total package- ₦3,750,000.

And we think this is normal, no one is speaking against it. This is corruption itself, we the citizens are our own enemies.

What other things related to this have we all accepted to be normal?

2) Some randy Teachers/Lecturers are sleeping with female students for marks.

3) The judiciary NO longer the hope of the common man.

4) Terrorists are now on Govt. payroll.

5) A police report is demanded from accident victims (even where there is no police post around) before medical workers could attend to the victim(s) even at the point of death.
NB:- many have died in such situation and still counting......

6) Fulani people causing gross level of insecurity everywhere including farms. Killing farmers with impunity and the Govt. is silence.

Mobilizing police officers with money before they act on your report. And even after they have sorted you, they will still ask for something.

Tipping security men for doing their job.

Tipping guys and touts in the streets to show your social upgrade.

I bought a bunch of bitterleaf from a Naigerian shop in Dalston market London.

When i got home what was in the bunch was just sticks they put the sticks inside the bunch and wrap the sticks around with few leaves of bitterleaves if you look from the outside you would think that it is bunch of bitterleaves but grin grin jeeeeez!! I thought what a scam, i bought a bunch of sticks for £4.

One time i bought egg roll from Naigerian shop i saw a glimpse of egg in the roll but when i bit inside the roll there was no egg. grin

What da ....? Why do Naigerias do these things, it is ironic because after all these scams they are still poor.

... it's a chicken vs egg situation.
History has shown clearly that one man at the top can make a huge difference.

Changes have to start from the top e.g
You can't ask policeman on the street not to take bribe when he's aware how much the oga in the office is raking.
You can clamp down on Yahoo all you like but as long as Obasanjo, Babangida remains in their hilltop mansions (politicians pay homage to them during elections), you're wasting your time. Certificate forgery, bribery have all become very normal in the Nigerian psyche.

The way the economy is going, honest people are fast becoming rare exceptions. May OLODUMARE hasten the expiry date.
