Guyman01:Those borders were closed at different times and for different reasons. Besides, not all the borders in the North they talked about, just the four closed because of Niger Republic coup. To import more Boko haram, bandits, and probably to facilitate Hamas terrorists' escape through the deserts so that the Jihad can continue from Nigeria  The insurgency is a cash cow for Northern politicians. They collect ransom, create NGOs, and receive grants then get more funds and contract for IDP camps.  The southern borders should rather be opened if they mean well for Nigerians so that essential food commodities prices can come down.
