Only very few states in Nigeria can survive without allocation from the FG

Lagos unarguably tops the list which shows the fiscal policies kickstarted by PBAT as governor has consistently yielded results

Among the top ten least dependent on federal allocations by region, we have

4 from the South West (Ondo narrowly missed out at No. 11)

4 from the North West

2 from the North Central

I would exclude the South South states as I personally believe they need to control their resources

Yaribas and their reverse psychology! Tueh! Tueh!
No. 1, companies are closing and relocating, how is their State's revenues growing?
No. 2, the truth is that Ogun, Lagos, Oyo, and the rest of Nigeria, including the federal government depend on oil from Akwa Ibom, Delta, Rivers, Imo, and Anambra. Every federal budget always depend on the estimated barrels of oil to be sold and the likely price of oil in the international market. Yet these unity beggers will come out to cover their ass by chunning out fake statistics. Tueh! Tueh!

It will take Anambra 6 months to generate what Ogun State generates in one month and Anambra is 70% dependent on federal allocation. Without revenue from other states, Anambra will be on life support

If only you can read and comprehend, then you’ll realize the Lagos, Ogun and Oyo are the least dependent on oil because they can stand on their own

The SE states are the ones that can’t survive without the rest of Nigeria, but all you can do is stare at the table I attached with no clue what its about

SW remains the hotbed of investment in Nigeria because of the relative peace in SW. In recent times, there has been a massive influx of people from all over Nigeria, majorly because of insecurities in the North and SE. Lagos as one of the SW states is the one that suffers the most pressure. Lagos practically sustains Nigeria, contributing almost 55% of Nigeria's IGR. Lagos doesn't borrow to pay salary, infact it's the only state that pays more than the minimum wage. It borrows to build infrastructure that will serve 20 million people residing in that small state. Infact if the other governors were proactive, their people will not be escaping from their own lands and homes into another man's land. It's like other governors push their job/duties on Lagos governor. Other governors maintain a low debt profile because they most likely will not qualify to get loans because their IGR cannot payback and no institution lends money on an IGR that can't match repayments burden. the other SW states are also pushing except for Ekiti. Governors of the SE and North should be more proactive with ideas that can generate more money for their state purse and people who benefit of Lagos and SW should stop insulting the land where your wealth comes from because it becomes a thorn in your life. A proverb says pray for the peace of where you live for in her peace will you find peace. As long as you curse Nigeria or wherever you operate, you will not enjoy the land.
