1) they think people of Palestine are the same with the Philistines mentioned in the Bible. 2) They think everyone is Palestine are Muslims. There's a large Christian population in Palestine, the hospital that was bombed was owned by the Anglican communion.

3) they think present day Israeli are Christian. Again, wrong, majority of Jews are secular, the other practice Judaism, very few numbers are Christians.

4) they think the Jewish state is a liberal democracy. The state of Israel is a brutal apathied state fronting as a democracy.

5) they think this is a battle between good and evil, between Christians and Muslims and God is on the side of Israel. This is a battle for land between secular actors, it's not even a battle because only one side has an army. This is the massacre of the resistant force in Palestine, the Jewish "final solution".

The Israeli of old was made up of 12tribes, 10 out of the 12 were lost to captivity in Assyria (or the broader mesopotamia) , the remaining 2 tribes where dispersed by the Romans allover the middle East and eastern Europe, although some remained in Judah. My interpretation of this verse:

The two sins of Gaza;

1. They revolted against God three and four times. God had pardoned them thrice but the fourth revolt provoked Him beyond forgiveness.

2. They invaded a Nation (probably Israel), enslaved them and later sold them off to another Nation. God frowns at slave trade for it is wickedness.

But what I don't know is whether the prophecy has been fulfilled or is being fulfilled or is later to be fulfilled.
