Oga Basco, the criticisms came from his poor performance and only way out for him was to remain silent,no matter what and everything will slides.

This guy cost us WC but heaven did not fall cuz he took the criticisms in good faith but why now on top friendlies you are coming out on social media telling us “does it easy for Oyibo to sign him’” stupid mentality.
ah!! Sir kog, this thing really pain you oh..
To be honest uzoho was very disrespectful to Nigerians with that reply..
But no vex sir, na so our generation they behave.lol

So he just came up with that statement out of the sky right? U and I both know that not all the criticism was constructive. Then about the world cup, we also know that is part of the anger people have today. So it was not on top of friendly. It was on top of all issues put together.
basco, players of the super egles constantly come under criticism when they had bad games, he's not the first, neither would he be the last,
His response is irresponsible..

Basco criticism is part and parcel of the football game so what Uzoho is facing no matter how bad or vitriolic is nothing new under the sun.

The only way Francis should be answering his critics is on the football pitch.

Uzoho has not faced up to 10% criticism the likes of Mikel, Enyeama, Oliseh have encountered in their SE careers.

Have you watched the Beckham documentary on Netflix? That will give a better understanding of how Uzoho should begin to address his problems.

thank you for this.

His post is such a disrespect! Imagine Yakubu/Okoye making such after Korea miss and Tunisia howler respectively.
For me, he should be punished severely for that post.
No one is greater than the country and what makes a country is its people.
He should not get invite not until he apologize and improve.
exactly, he's not bigger than Nigeria. He's just fortunate to be where he is today

Obviously damage control but at least he has apologised. The next real apology is via his showing on the pitch in the next game since we are stuck with him till the Afcon (thanks to Peseiro and his GK dept's incompetence).

Thanks for following the channel, much love.

Uzoho was fantastic in the first leg against Ghana and he was looking good against Saudi and Mozambique until disaster struck.

Who was looking at Ndidi when he was making mistakes up and down last season I wasn't a fan of his bombastic side eye even though I did see the comedy in it.

If anything what Uzoho did was a stroke of genius. Instead of focusing on his mistakes, we are talking about which of us the white man would take to Europe grin
so how do you feel now that he has apologized for the post?

This guy was shoe in to become a hit for the Super Eagles and Enyeama's protégé if he was managed properly.
He lost 4yrs when he was deceived to move to South Africa. He never recovered thereafter. He should have been looked after better since he was a national team asset.

Secured Positions so far in the Super Eagles ahead of Afcon 23

GKs - Francis Uzoho (1st choice) - expect to see him start in the WCQs in November

CBs - Calvin Bassey, Semi Ajayi, Kenneth Omeruo

LBs - Bruno Onyemaechi

RBs - Bright Osayi-Samuel, Ola Aina

CDMs - Wilfred Ndidi, Raphael Onyedika

CMs - Frank Onyeka, Joe Aribo

CAMs - Alex Iwobi

LWs - Moses Simon, Ademola Lookman

RWs - Samuel Chukwueze

CFs/STs/SS - Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface, Kelechi Iheanacho

That's 18 names. Others (10 slots I think) still up for grabs as squad members and in one or two roles, the team jokers.

Barring any injury the team is complete then. The remaining 5 slots will be for two goalkeepers and the usual in Ekong, Musa and Awoniyi/Moffi.

Uzoho quote was a pure description of state of super eagles.

Absolutely sir, was privileged to have a tête-à-tête with some of these players, sir dey do not regard any of d nff members because of corruption neither d fans and when they say they say they’re sorry is just a lip service. Sir, methink d SE’s problem is vertically corresponding to the horizontal.

I think it would be more than 23. We took 27 to the last Afcon due to Iggy's withdrawal.

Each team was allowed a maximum of 28 players.

More like some of the players wanted him to stay because he tolerates a lot of their nonsense and gives them freedom to do whatever they like.
Even the players would be lying to themselves if they think he is the one to win the Afcon without bringing in and inviting the right personnel in certain roles that need such.

Peseiro has seen what Onyedika brings to the middle but somehow he would still bench him. Unless Peseiro makes the necessary changes that upgrade our plays from defence to midfield (1st to 2nd phase plays), we are getting nothing in CIV.

It was pretty easy to figure out. When I knew this was when Musa was openly advocating for him to remain. It was indicative of a quid pro quo going on.

It surprises me that our fans still think we have the best personnel to win afcon right now,

It surprises me that our fans don’t rate friendly matches

It surprises me that our fans are quick to look away from obvious shortcomings and weak links

It surprises me that our fans think we have a world class team

It surprises me that our fans are ok with our wingers being the most inconsistent players on the team.

It surprises me that after our loss to ghana till date we still have no #10

It surprises me that nobody is talking about how our play style is all over the place 2000s kick and follow style of play.

I’m not here to criticize but make afcon come first.
