What are the Best Advice Your Parents Gave You then as kids but you didn’t realize was true until you became adults.?


For me:

"'No one can make you feel the way you don't want to feel.' My Dad.

Never trust anyone hundred percent.

"Not all the people who laugh with you are your friends' I realized very very late.


"As my dad loved to say: ‘By the time you realize what your father said was right, you’ll have a son or daughter who’ll tell you you’re wrong!’"

My mom used to say that " the truth is like a seed , even if you bury it in the ground, it will surely germinate."........
As a kid, this never made sense to me until I became an adult.

My parents always encouraged me to be kind to people no matter what. I grew up with this mentality and this affected me negatively.

If I had known I would have stayed wicked but I wasn't raised like that. I still feel bad because I don't know how to treat people bad. I always want to make people feel happy.

I tried to kms one time and my dad scolded me that I couldn't do it right .

Mum used to say, 'The water fish is destined to drink from, will never flow pass it mouth'.

And I keep realising how truthful the saying is.
