If you're born anywhere else in the country asides lagos, chances are high that you'll be tribalistic. Lagosians ain't tribalistic, mostly the educated ones.

People with little or no education that come from the east, west and north to hustle in lagos are usually extremists on this tribal ish.

I'm yoruba, my best friend is from the east. This is unlikely in any other part of the region.

See what happened in the last election, where the ruling party couldn't win in lagos because we are more sensible than any state in of the country. Lagosians don't follow the bandwagon, we know a scam when we see one.

The Nigeria we dream of will come 1 day, first some certain generations have to be flushed away first, it's not a curse, they can never see the promised land because of their selfish sense of reasoning.

I reside in Lagos and I interact a lot with Yorubas. I do not think the supposed 'hate' is real. Perhaps there are political differences (which I only notice in very few elite Yorubas, mostly less-educated), but that's about it.

However Yorubas don't care if IGBOS support Tinubu or not.Let SS and SE support their children. The North will decide who will rule Nigeria.
Whether IGBOS are happy or not Yorubas will spend 8 years in presidency.
As for the ruling class in the two regions , they love one another.

Let me say the naked truth, there is no love lost between Igbos and Yoruba. If the word "hate" is too strong, then let me put it this way,
Yorubas don't like Igbos, they champion the course of instigating Igbo hatred throughout Nigeria. Whether political or real, I don't know.
They're perpetually afraid of Igbo being recognised or praised above them. A Yoruba can forfeit food for a week just to be online and portray Igbos in bad light. Anybody can talk and make noise in Nigeria, it's acceptable to a Yoruba as long as it's not from an Igbo person. So the truth is , Yorubas don't like Igbos, whether online or offline. I don't believe in sugarcoating words. We only tolerate ourselves. The funny thing is that the same Yorubas will do everything humanly possible to have Igbo gene in their bloodline.
