Even staff in ministry of education that approved the location of the school should be sanctioned. Many schools are in wrong location.

Why put babies upstairs? One of my schools that has a three storey building put the nursery one and kindergarten downstairs while the upper classes are upstairs.

There's another school I was always worried about each time I go there because one child with autism was always climbing the window. I kept telling the owner, do something about this before this child puts you into trouble. She now used wood to seal off the window and changed the childrens class. Hm.

Some of these things require common sense. like how can you rent/use a storey building for primary school? When planning to open a school all these should be taken into consideration and not just to get a place hurridly and start making money. Chai!

Cause of death
Manner of death
Mechanism of death
If there are other underlying conditions
Is it accidental or homicide

The needless and preventable death of this child is a combined factor of the ignorance and lack of common sense from the parents and greed and stupidity from the school owners.

How on God's earth do you locate cretch, pre-nursery and nursery in a story building, let alone a three story building.

Even if that child didn't fall off, stairway accidents at that age are inevitable.

The proliferation of private schools have brought so many idiots into the sector solely for business with no common sense. Especially some church owners, and their wives.

Somebody must be made accountable.

Just because you're financially able to own and run a church doesn't make you an educator.

Actions and consequences are never properly aligned in Nigeria, hence the continuous negligence. Only in Nigeria many behave in a certain way and expect a different outcome, perhaps as a result of either an overdose of religious pill or due to lack of the rule of law. Even high rise building without proper restrains aren't idea for high school leavers.

Everyone is blaming the proprietor, forgetting the carelessness of the Care givers who are paid to look after those kids.. building has nothing to do with this! It's just a total negligence to duty and carelessness!. The only blame I see here for the owner is not putting protection measures in place ,like an iron bars to protect the kids

The school owner should be arrested for culpability and negligence. How can you locate creche on the 3rd floor instead of ground floor?

What kinda punishment is this? Allowing a two years old baby to go through the stress of climbing a 3 storey building in the name of school is wickedness from the parents.

And for the proprietor that sited a creche in a 3 storey building without full burglaries should be properly prosecuted.

Alot of persons are just care about making money, nothing else

My young sis fell from stairs in Day care back then, broke arm, JUNE 12, 1993.
We no go forget the riot day, wen people making way to home for SAFETY, WE made u Turn finding & making way to Hospital

The school I thought in those days, primary 3 and above are upstairs, the rest downstairs. The balconies are not rails but high concrete.
