I saw that thread about the spare parts mall in IMO State...you posted

It was impressive... Businesses must not be concentrated in One place...

Wealthy IGBOs should also open outlets in major eastern capitals and CBD's (central Business Districts)..so that evrybody will relocate their head offices outside lagos...and leave expendable business in the useless LAGOS.

This is how they killed TINAPA,,and OBUDU with useless propaganda.

Thank God IGBOs that are on the fence, are now seeing everything directly

Jealous lazy mofos. At least they acknowledge our dominace in trade. We will supply from the East till they shamelessly open it as usual

Lagos is our heritage.

Lagos must be kept clean.

I will also suggest those 2x4 shops should be demolished, good structures erected and leased out to the good people of SW, SS, North & MB at subsidised rates.

This is like the 101th time it's being sealed and unsealed. Under Fashola, this happened almost every month. It usually happens when the politics at the center doesn't seem to favor yorubas. This so called sealing may not be unconnected with the tension at the supreme Court

The market should be relocated.

Alaba Market was due to be relocated over 4 years ago

Rants...

Relocate the market...and stop the huffing and foolish puffing. Everybody is waiting to see when you will seal MILE 12, that is the dirtiest market in LAGOS. You need to show workings and go to Mile 12...so that people will see if you dare seal the markets belonging to your Northern Masters.

You just laid the ground work for your problems.

You are the most insecure tribe in that country..and you must be cut to size soon.

Worthless fuus

We wont be relaxed like the Ghanaians they chased with "GHANA must GO" propaganda, and killed the educational system.

You realise the alien deportation policy from the Shagari government was a Federal policy right? Plus it wasn't "Ghana must go" (that's just the nickname of a bag) as it was targeted at all foreigners without proper papers.

So Lagos State government did not chase Ghanaians away and are also not looking to chase Igbo people anywhere.

Ladipo market was closed for the same reason and reopened when the health and sanitation issues were sorted, same will happen at Alaba.

Stop with the needless false conclusions.

We are not fools ..

That is how MC Oluomo said MAMA CHUKWUDI Nonsense during elections. It's was targeted at who?

When idiotic thugs came to Alaba Market and we're killed, who sent them to come and disrupt the market?

When are you closing MILE 12? ..When are you closing OSHODI? When are you Closing IJORA?

You think we are fools? Right.

You will not recover from this...

Idiots in Alausa that are acting vindictively towards IGBOs are the undoing of Lagos. The word around all trader unions is that this is becoming too much. As such, men have decided to start pushing their business away .

You will soon enjoy your LAGOS alone... Nonsense
.

I don't know how old you are but this comment shows how ignorant and myopic you are.

The reforms and institutions established by Obasanjo still existing up till today.
ICPC
EFCC
Civil Defense
BPE
and many others.

Obasanjo cleared the debt by the military government when oil revenue was down to 22d/parrel.

He implemented minimum wages and carried out reforms in many sectors.

Today Tinubu is here clearing the mess of the past leaders but you are ignorant and lack the cognitive to know all these

Lagos govt closed mile 12 and owode on Friday and on Monday so it took 1day to negotiate with them, we all know it was a show off to prove they are not tribal. But ladipo had to pay more than 20million be4 they opened it and we pay our waste bill every month, but lawman refused to pick up the container and give use a new one. They left it for 2weeks be4 coming to close it down, by that time waste has littered everywhere as an excuse.
But after one week mechanics where allowed to open their workshop while traders remain locked. This is first hand account of what happed , so now it Alaba.

There is no dirty anywhere in the market. if there is any let them provide the evidence. They just want to increase the money we pay for PSP which is below 1k per shop. There is no unhealthy environment in alaba International Market.
What is wrong with you Igbos? How many times do you need to be told, that investing outside Igboland is dangerous and risky? Many of you will soon die of high BP when demolition or anything worse starts. If you really want to invest outside Igboland leave Nigeria kpata kpata.

Many of you on this platform are so ignorant....closing down markets has no political or ethnicity label, its cos of poor Sanitation. Igbos are not only the ones in all those markets even Ghanaians, Cameroonian, Yorubas, Hausas, Fulani etc. Government cannot afford to close down where they generate income for a long period. They are simply instructing them or rather wiping all of them in line to take their environmental hygiene seriously. You guys so stop all these tribal nonsense.
