I applied for a visa for one of my juniors this past August, and luckily the email for the passport request came in a few minutes ago, but I checked the application tracker status and found no information as per the visa.

Appointment required for physical submission
You will pay transmission fee if you didn't do your biometrics in Abuja.

There's also a courier option I don't know that details very well.

The scamming is worst now , many experienced it many years ago. Now the Indian graduate students on PGWP about to expire have no choice than to go back to their country after studying here and spent over 60k cad. Government have no plans to extend anymore. They have refused to do Canadian experience class CEC draw. Many who are in EE pool can’t make 500 Crs score.

Only Canadian government benefit on the long run. Students are cashcow . Plan your journey and know what to expect before making that move. It’s a game of Chance.

with this kind of English There is nothing like cheap tuition. If you don’t have up to 10m naira these days better go and apply to Lasu.

there are about 800k students while total PR for economic class yearly is less than 300k. Canada is not forcing anyone to come. They took a chance . Some will be lucky some wont be. The numbers and plans have been published 2 years ahead.

I think it's better if you can do that at home to polish yourself academically and skillfully without wasting money & time except if your sponsorers has more than enough $s to splash on you. Canada no WASA o

Please can one do walk in for biometrics if you opt for premuim lounge?

Also can i drop off passport same day of biometrics (my ppl and biometrics validity dropped first, current biometrics expires in april so while applying for renewal, i indicated and paid for a new biometrics . when biometrics validity and ppl dropped and no biometrics letter, a family friend in canada helped me call them and they eventually sent biometrics request letter) can i just drop passport same day or i should wait for biometrics to be updated on my profile first. I still have about 3 weeks from the 1 month deadline to submit window

It’s very unfortunate to read comments here about people intentionally planning or already abusing the visit visa system.

At the end of the day, Nigerians are truly the problem before the government. The same Nigerians complaining about long interrogations at Toronto airport because of frequent cases of the visit vsia abuse, are the same Nigerians still planing to do the same.

Tomorrow when Canada bans Nigerians like the UAE did or make the application stricter, you same abusers will blame it on the government.

If you are guilty of this and reading this, a big shame on you! And I truly hope that nemesis catches up with you. There’s no excuse for illegality. Nothing stops you from going through the EE route or even student visa route. Infact, having the visit visa alone makes the study visa easier to get. But no, you want to feel smart and cheat the system and make things harder for future applicants.

See, You will never gain anything fruitful as you abuse the privilege. You will suffer from day 1 and eventually leave there out of frustration. I hope that majority of you are eventually deported in shame. You will all labour in vain.

Please my wife did Biometric in Lagos and our 3 years old twins are dependent in the application, they all got PPR and my wife submitted the passports through DHL to Lagos VFS. Now somebody said my 3 years old children are suppose to pay for transmission fee of N9,930 each. Is this true, if it is true how do I go about the payment because the passports have been submitted already.
Do 3 years old kids pay Transmission fee if they submit passports to VFS in Lagos along with their parents passports?
If yes how do I pay the transmission fees if the passports had already been submitted?
The parents did Biometric in Lagos.

I won't advise you to withdraw the application as resubmitting puts your application afresh into the processing log.

Send a webform again - Politely ask about the status of your application and include a statement about If any additional document or clarification to support the visa officer completing the processing of the application is required, you will provide it promptly.
(IRCC is like a grizzly bear, don't poke it too much or your file will be reviewed in some sort of biased way - speaking from experience).

In addition, if you had the US visa after applying in August 2022, add it to the webform: include a scanned page of the visa and any stamped pages that show you traveled there and left before the end of the authorized stay period.

We are all in the same boat waiting, IRCC teaches us the definition of patience.

Download the form through your browser (Google Chrome is preferred) and open it with Adobe (the desktop app and not the web version).

got PPR around June 2023
got a mail to ignore the PPR sent in July 2023 that it a mistake
finally got another PPR in October 2023 and visa stamped already.

Kindly advice, I had a denied student visa in March 2023 due to funds which can’t be verified in a Microfinance bank and salary pay I get is not seen as a good expense for the proposed study.
Do I stand a better chance of an approval if I process a visit visa now?

I applied for SOWP with my kids. God my PPr after 30days and got authorization letter request for the kids. We have since uploaded the letters. It's 4 days today ..I'm still waiting for their PPR

Yes, but this is not as easy as it's written on the internet. It's like passing through the eye of a needle.

Getting a job offer or a positive LMIA is an extremely difficult process. The chances of getting a job offer from a Canadian employer are very slim because an employer has to fulfill the LMIA requirement to hire you, and the truth is that not many employers are willing to sponsor temporary visitors.

There are some LMIA-exempt jobs, but getting an employer to make a job offer is damn hard because so many applicants are fighting to get the few positions that are available.

But it might be a bit easier for those with exceptional skills and those who have enough contacts in Canada to support them during this difficult period.

It is possible, but not as easy as people are talking about it in Nigeria.

This is just my personal opinion; I am not here to discourage anyone. This is just a heads-up to know what you are going to face when you get in.

You already know why your last application was turned down. If you can address those reasons, I think you should be fine.
