This current FG will not go borrowing money or use hard-earned forex inflow to fight against the overvalued US dollar on the streets. You all will get burnt las las.

How will they get burnt when the FG refuse to borrow to fight the so called "over-valued" US dollar on the streets?? grin

You are confused.

Bobo Juice. Big Big talk. And by the way the headline is very misleading.
Nigeria as we currently know is a criminal organization. It’s no longer a country. When no one , regardless of how highly placed such individuals may be is prosecuted and convicted when he breaks the law, that’s when we’d know and trust that Nigeria is a functional society. Until, I am really enjoying this comic show.
Mr Tinubu must first be honest to himself. Does he in truth mean well for Nigeria.? The answer is obvious.
This is a man who did not and still does not have any economic/ fiscal policy roadmap during his campaign and even now.
What we are witnessing now is a repeat of what transpired during Buhari’s presidency. The charlatans and sycophants are goading him to abysmal failure.
The same people that foisted Buhari on Nigerians and later turn around to criticize and even condemn him are the same people with these nuances again. I heard some are even saying that he’s no a magician

Enjoy the ride.

I only hear patriotic and unpatriotic. However, if you truly want to release dollars stored in many homes in Nigeria, talk to people like Ganduje, Wike, Tinubu's ministers and cronies.

Of course, their oga kpata himself is the druggie one. Without this, the recommendations reeled out will amount of nothing.

FreeStuffsNG:
13. Expand the official foreign exchange market to incorporate BDCs, forex apps and retail fx dealers, and outlaw transactions in the black market

14. Digitalise Nigeria’s fx regime and discourage speculative demands and hoarding of fx in cash

15. Imposition of excise tax on foreign exchange transactions outside the official market

Great job by Taiwo Oyedele and his team of patriotic Nigerians. These are bold audacious moves by the Asiwaju Tinubu-led Federal Government. This is absolutely brilliant!

Only unpatriotic and greedy people will go buy fx to hoard and they deserve not only to lose their funds but must be prosecuted for economic sabotage as well.

This current FG will not go borrowing money or use hard-earned forex inflow to fight against the overvalued US dollar on the streets. You all will get burnt las las.

Those being deceived to keep hoarding forex will get burnt severely las las.

It's criminal and unpatriotic mindset that will make an otherwise educated person who spends almost 100% of his day to day expenses in naira to still go and hoard forex and crowd out those who genuinely need it. If they don't get burnt, no defence of the naira will deter such unpatriotic elements. Not even EFCC that Mr Emefiele kept sending after them will make them stop.

All the enemies of Nigeria will lose las las. They always lose. God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!

The Only Two Solutions To The Naira Depreciation are:

1) The Government Needs to Embark and Invest Heavily into Agriculture

2) The Government of Nigeria Needs To Support The Utilization of Cryptos like The E-Naira To Empower Youths in Solving Real Problems like Epileptic Power Supply in Nigeria.

Without These, Naira will continue to depreciate.

Anyways, USDT is Active !

It would have been better to have a system solely for the regulation of black market dealings, in the CBN.

There are those who are committed to being part of the solution and then there are the evil village people looking the destruction of Nigeria.

May God continue to reward them and their lineage based on the wish in their hearts for Nigeria.

Where they engage in acts of sabotage may they be caught and exposed.

No weapons (be it local or foreign) from any angle fashioned against Nigeria shall prosper.

Which result...? If not for the parallel market readers, where we fir see fx put into pur account and order our goods? Banks can't support SMEs . Visit any branch and see endless queues of thise looking for fx. I had ti withdraw my application after waiting for nearly 4 months. Na biack market save me.

I travelled recently to Hungary. My bank couldn't support me with BTA. Na parallel market save me cos our cards aren't working overseas for transactions. Gone were the days when we'd insert our debit card in thehr atm abroad and we'd withdraw as if we're in Nigeria in their currency.

Apc has killed our economy under the pretext of discouraging import. Woth thus heinous move, dem.kuku wan finish Nigeria. They know what they're doing

Nothing but truth. It started with importation ban, now followed by kerosene, diesel and petrol subsidies removal. Prices of goods keep going up everyday, I meant everyday in literal meaning

* Outlaw transactions in the black market. *

Please what is this ?

Few Nigerians get forex via the banks. The only way to get dollars is from BDC or so called black market.

Government of propaganda. The parrallel/black market is the only way for most Nigerians to get dollar. This is the market that shows the true naira value.

The CBN quote is propaganda. I believe they only use this window to scam foreign investors or unsuspecting victims, from their dollars.

Permit me to educate you.
Banning black market forex does not mean taking the bereau de change out of business.
What it means is digitalizing their operations.
Instead of going to the street corner to change, the bereau de change operators will have a digital platform online where you transfer your niara and instant convert to foreign currency of your choice .
No more handling physical foreign currency.
There will be no need for hoarding

They know this is impossible (outlaw parallel market) but needed to send out false hope.

Few months ago, you came out to tell us that you're floating the naira and that people (including banks) can go look for forex anywhere they like to set their rates based on market demand and supply.

Now this?
