I sold him, thought of getting Odeegard but I decided against it because I felt Arsenal are missing a lot of key players. I ended up with Foden. cry

In another contest saw Don Iykmora boys flopped yet again with an abysmal display on the road to A'King FC. This dismal performance turned the joke around after making a defiant snide remark to the manager of 6ixt8's Wolves
we've missed your GW review for 2 GWs now, or you do it when you perform okay that week. Maybe you want to present an accumulated version this time around. πŸ€”

Re: Nairaland Fantasy Premier League 2023/2024 by pamcode(m): 4:09pm On Oct 08, 2023
Damn Salah turned up this one mehn.. what a disappoinment Son turned out to be. How I left Johnstone on the bench is what I would never know.

Alvarez returning one or two is all that stands between I and my first cup loss this season.

Another interesting week in the NFPL week 8!

Manager McKane fairy tale continues as he looks poise for a record invincible, by edging past his opponent by 5 point. The win was a statement against the reigning champions as the gave us a Pep-Arteta-esque in a fantasy experience thriller.

6ixt8 Wolves Packs dominated the front pages of the news for their massive point haul to prove the doubters wrong once again. Ahead of the game, the manager was quoted in The press saying "we have got to clear all unreasonable doubt everyone have on us, we have to show them the characters of the Packs of Wolvrines. It's disheartening when people opines without considering we started the league on the wrong foot; my boys were on auto selection, the second week too, there was failure in properly organising the chaps. All these factor had cost us irrevocable point that could have been decisive on the log. We took responsible for our poor start, and not making an excuse either. We need to prove who will truly are with our performance starting from tomorrow..." True to the managers words, his boys went on to unleashed fire and fury to not just their opponent Big Tims; who is also cruising on chip, but to the entire league! El Mundo Depotivo described him as Roberto De Zerbi of the fantasy world.

The round 8 fixtures recorded close stiff contest amongst manager's in few fixtures. The resurgence OasisX boys were giving a reality check back to the earth by auto-pilot-less Libranians F.C. by 2 point. Ipukulu rode on theirs luck to edge pass Terrible Winners on terrible foam by 1 point mark. Elsewhere, Sod who was on aggressive foam last season fall short at home by 1point to Bruttalion FC. And the Magnificent overpowered the Galactico by 4 point away from home.

All eyes on McKane to see how long he would hold, before the pressure at the top crumble him.

Sweet clean sheet denied. Still edged Obainojazz nevertheless, Captaining Son turned out to be a master stroke.
