Thank you Maidaboi. This is another angle to why I laugh at Peseiro's call for/contact with Alhassan. Alhassan has what we need in the middle but truthfully he has been benched more times this season than played from the start.
He hasn't hit the form he showed before his injury so Peseiro's search for MF reinforcements with the profile I know we need in the team should have taken him towards Portugal. To a lad in form. To a lad doing well regularly.

Alhassan has some of the skillsets we need in the middle just like Nwakali and Onyedika does in tandem with an Iwobi. But Alhassan needs more time to alsobag more minutes under his belt.

That UCL game was ONLY his 4th start all season.

Doctor,Peseiro wey Dey invite Aribo babu game na him you Dey talk say Alhassan needs more games to play for him.

And then Bellingham still finds a way to score. Relentless lad. What a smash from outside the box.

But still kudos to Gavi. Jude will be on a brace or Hattrick by now if not for his (Gavi's) performance.

Bellingham really thriving in that pocket role behind the twin forwards. Him crashing the box multiple times gives him more opportunities for goals than even several strikers in the game. This is why he keeps bagging in Ancelotti's 442-diamond (sometimes called a 4312).

Truth is I know Madrid still needs a striker as for the long run, they cannot keep hanging their goals hopes on a midfielder in Bellingham especially if they will challenge for titles this season especially the UCL.

Jude don make am 2(brace)

No be by garagara. That Gavi over seriousness and garagara mk me no like am. The barca midfielder I love is Pedri. Also the new kid Femini Abi wetin be em name is good too

Bellingham's first goal did the magic. It woke him up and made him go for the kill. What a way to mark your first el clasico.

All of Gavi's work now looking wasted. Kaaaiiii

I don’t like that Gavi boy. He is too serious and annoying for his age. The one I love so much is Pedri, kid is too classy and matured for his age

Pedri is easily the best CM in the world when fit.

@Bolded...Fermin Lopez is the name you are looking for.

Kudos to Jude Bellingham. His combined athletic and technical quality really paying off in that #8 role in the pocket under Ancelotti.

that fermin guy is a huge talent and looked good in the 2 matches I hv seen him play

If well groomed I see another Busquest but with more aggression and pace in the lad

I reported the goal already. Read my post below.

Truth is Jude was hardly in the game until that cracking thunder of a goal. Damn!!

And Emeka, take ya time... Respect Gavi. E no easy to be Gattuso and Xavi at the same time. 😂😂 That boy dey try. Technically proficient yet a beast in duels despite his size. Omo... I dey fear for am sometimes when he goes in for a tackle.

I am not disputing the fact that he is good but what I hate is his attitude and over seriousness in games. The guy’s aggression is too rash for his age

Mk em calm down remain the one wey em go play in his mid 20s kwanu if not I foresee injuries dealing with him much later in his career 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Em garagara too much abeg

why will a normal coach who claims he scouts players ignore Folorunsho but instead insist on inviting dead Aribo always

An Aribo who barely plays in the championship 🤣

The few times I hv seen Folorunsho play that guy is tailor made for African football and a good fit as an option in the b2b midfield role for us

If paired with ndidi/onyedika with iwobi as the CAM I believe the 3 will work perfectly in our midfield

His aggressive approach is scary but it is also as fierce as his overall combined technical and athletic qualities.

Gavi is a duels beast when defending who also offers you progressive play options at RCM and LCM.

In all, I like the lad but I get your angle. It is legit and funny.

just that football of this era is too soft compared to that of years back

I swear if it was like 10-15 years ago I don’t see him playing at the top at the age of 28-30

Opposing midfielders go target am scatter em knee or ankle and when he returns he won’t remain the same

Imagine facing the likes of gattuso, scholes, makalele, viera, keane, conte, Emerson, essien just to mention a few I can remember now u come dey show them as a 19-20 year old say u sabi agidi

Pedri and Frenkie De Jong are huge misses for Barca no doubt. Two elite midfield pearls.

Pedri especially is the best CM on the planet. Elegantly graceful.... unlimited in his passing approaches and with such a high sense of ball intelligence and spatial IQ.

Jude Bellingham as a CM is a Dynamo. An athletic force of nature but Pedri is the Lightning before the thunder. The most technically gifted of them all blessed with outstanding stamina as well.

I can't wait for Pedri's return to action. Football misses Pedri.

Raise your hands up if you didn't see the sense then in Birmingham retiring Jude Bellingham's #22 shirt at the club.

Trust me. I didn't see the sense either especially as he was yet to even begin his Bundesliga career at Dortmund despite being aware of his huge potentials.

But some years down the line and that decision by Birmingham seems to be making a whole lot of sense now. Hindsight is always the best analyst. Lol... but I respect foresighted analysis even more.

Aside the fact that his transfer brought a huge financial windfall for the club, it sure looks like he will go down as their greatest ever talent. The best to have come through their club.

Amazing foresight by Birmingham.

I gotta hand it to them.

Honestly. If I thought only about how Komekn will jump on this now to push his Champ agenda again, I wouldn't be giving Bellingham his flowers.

But you see, we gotta rise above some people's agenda and just talk football unbiased.

If he wants to use my post to draw wind for his agenda ship to sail, I will use same wind and blow his agenda off course.😁

In the local league today, Enugu Rangers did the CR7 Suiii celebration (see below) 4 times as they spanked Kano Pillars 4-1.

Pillars took the lead first before Rangers led by Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu went on rampage.

Rangers' 2nd Goal was a thing of beauty. The passing exchanges leading up to the goal were just top class. I enjoyed the Suiiiii that followed that goal the most.

BascoVanVeli will do justice.

NB: The suiii pic below is from their game vs Remo Stars.

Bellingham is whoever he thinks he is abeg. Again, if a player is young and is good, forget all those punditry and analytics of "let them wait to develop blah blah"

If ya good, ya good. You don't need to be a messi or Ronaldo before this fact can apply to you. Our local coaches still dey hold onto this archaic mentality too. Those ones still dey hibernate in days of Phileas Fogg.

Realized Onyeka has a decent game vs Chelsea.
