In election petitions Atiku will traditionally bring up counter arguments focused on the voting pattern and counts. He did not do that this time. He was easily swindled by David Hundeyin who led social media into believing, first, that Tinubu did not attend CSU, and later added that the Tinubu that attended CSU is female, and not same as the male Tinubu who is President.

Atiku failed to put the electorate in perspective of the court case. He came second with over 6M votes. That many millions of voters did not vote Atiku because they believed he went to school and graduated, and his certificate was not forged. Neither did 8million voted Tinubu on account of his academic background or status. These were pure outcome of partisan politics and situational judgement of past experience, accomplishments and trust in who they believed had capacity....certificate or not, forgery or not....with skills and competence to right the wrongs of society and lead Nigeria.

Atiku left the electorate pattern and followed Hundeyin's scam.

His proposal will result in further division and push regional control of resources away from indigeneous owners. If the law can be changed in his time to give statutory power to 6 for 6, a future president could also change the law to expand the zones to 8, a further mess.

Mr. Atiku is very confused. It is very wrong to cite the retired speech in his speech. Atiku is one of the biggest contributors to the Nigerian problems. When the law favours him, the judiciary is the best. When the law does not, the judiciary is corrupt.


I am waiting for a time when Atiku will be tried for orchestrating the civil coup in the south west states (except Lagos) in the 2003 governorship elections.

Atiku has never been a consistent politician.

This is an interesting read. Also I whole heartedly adopt his submissions. These are real solutions to some of the problems we have in the country. Rotational presidency between 6 Zones and that INEC needs to prove the Validity of results submitted not the candidate, because INEC is the umpire to determine who is qualified based on results submitted before now. Also I agree for a 6 years single term. Because this will allow who ever is the President settle down in 1 year and work 5 years for the people. The other 2 years that would have made it 8 years, is used to play politics anyways. So within 6 years you can plan your Presidency and leave a legacy for the people

There is no legal conviction of Tinubu as a forger. You all are pushing moral arguments championed by David Hundeyin, and anecdotal at best! No facts. The points he championed about a frmale Tinubu and that BAT did not attend CSU have all been demolished by CSU authorities in US. Furthermore, an undisputable legal record has now been created for him in US Courts that will bind courts in Nigeria to throw out future challenges on his academic records. In trying to disqualify Tinubu, Atiku helped cement his qualification.
