Leave them with their banters and face your own life and progress. Let them be deceiving. My friend is here in Nigeria and already have companies waiting for him to move to Canada for LMIA job. I saw the company emails with my eyes. Information is very powerful.

Good Day House !!
I intend applying for a Canadian Visitor Visa but have a few questions bothering me.
1) How long on the average does it take to be issued a Visitor's Visa.
2) How many month Statement of acct is required for this process
3) Despite getting an invite from a friend who is a Citizen, shld i still go ahead to have an Hotel reservation booked?
4) All necessary URL (Link) to apply would also be appreciated.

Thank you in anticipation

No one can really say for sure the processing time frame, but since June this year, it has been a bit faster than before. Some of those who applied recently got a visa decision within 90 days, while others are still waiting for a decision.

A 6-month bank statement is the requirement.

If you have someone who is willing to invite and accommodate you, then you don't need to book hotel accommodation; otherwise, you will need to show evidence of accommodation.

Thanks for your response, I didn't include the SS application's AOR when I submitted the TRV application. I thought their system will automatically detect the dual intent. Moreover, I was of the opinion, its when you get to Canada and want to convert the TRV to an open work permit, that's when its mandatory to include the SS AOR. Is it too late to submit via the webform?

eorom:

In the same process, There is no special way of applying for spousal TRV - normal TRV application. IRCC confirmed to me that I need to indicate that my spouse has an open PR application (SS) and include the AOR when submitting the TRV application. There was no clear explanation why some are processed within 30 days and others take longer. I never got a clear reason from them and always got referred to the general reason link for delays (security and background check).

With your confirmation of what is stated in the GCMS note, I cannot fathom the reason for the delays. Although, I know IRCC processing normally slows down toward the end of the year, but it still doesn't make sense.

Pls guys, can anyone avail me the current visa fee for visitors visa.

Also would I need to do biometric cos I applied for study visa in 2015 and was denied, an agent told me if it’s not up to 10 years I last applied, I wouldn’t need to pay for biometric if applying now.

È Sir,

Do you know for a certainty that an unpaid volunteering role is eligible for work permit?
If yes kindly post the link from Canadian government's website.
It's always better to post accurate information IMO as sadly some people base their uninformed choices on what they read on threads/social media. I've meet folks that got scammed/ran out of funds in Canada because of inaccurate information.

I honestly hope those with VV in Canada already find LMIA work however difficult it is. But try to not overstay your Visa, go back and re strategize with all the first-hand experience you'd have acquired.

You have a first aid certyfrom Canadian red Cross and you are looking for LMIA, is looking for LMIA the next step with what is in your hand or you get a volunteering position with Canadian Red Cross and flagpole to get work permit without LMIA first?

I beg,is mania works like cleaning, sweeping, factory labourer, restaurant work, sales boy/girl and security etc,are all this mania works also require limia niii, abi, all this kind of work cannot be find in Canada?this limia of things don dey drive me crazy....my bosses in Canada, pls explain to us,I beg, because, all this work does not require any qualifications or skill in other country like USA and Europe..
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by MayorOfEdmonton: 12:36am On Nov 03, 2023
Driving and cooking are really nice skills to have, but if we are being objective, I'd ask myself does these skills set me apart from the deluge of unemployed people with valid work visa and valid Canadian driver's license?

While having a business shows I'm enterprising, do I have a Business Analysis degree(s)+Certificates recognized in Canada?
Even having those doesn't guarantee employment.

Guys we have to be strategic!!! I hearsay dun turn Otunba for Nigeria to who dey sleep for street in Canada.
I hope your hardwork get blessed with success& you'd share your success story for all to learn from 🙏🙏

Do you jus want to try your luck and see if LMIA job is feasible or you really want to dump your registered business of 15yrs back in Nigeria?

The problem is that most employers don't want to go through this immigration LIMA stuff. They want people who already have permits to work in Canada.
