The first container freight train of the Lagos-Ibadan railway, built by #CCECC, has set off from Apapa Port in Lagos, #Nigeria. It departed from Apapa Port and carried a total of thrity 40-foot containers, arriving at Ibadan station in just two and a half hours.

This is a federal project not state. Lagos generates too much money from IGR but nothing to show for it.
Go to ipaja, bariga, ikotun, abulegba, ayobo, satellite town, mile 12, ojo area and many places you will see poverty and bad roads everywhere.

The cost of moving perishable foods from North to Lagos is responsible for the high cost of food in Lagos, especially tomatoes.
