Guys Good afternoon.i tried feeding my six weeks old puppies and in the course of dropping the bones in their plate one of them bit me on the finger and there was a slight scratch.Few minutes later it started to bleed so I took it to the tap,applied hand wash and rinsed with running water.Although I plan on going to the hospital tomorrow..Do I need to be worried about rabies?
P.s They haven't been given Anti Rabies yet

Six weeks pup??....rabies is not ur problem.....

Ur dog being aggressive at you the owner at that age is ur problem now....on top food wey u dey provide ooo
....if u intend to keep that dog, u gats train the puppy to get used to your hands in its plate, food, and ur hand generally in its mouth ...

.if u don't ...it will grow with that mentality and soon teach the others....
. U won't be able to put small vitamins in its mouth, muzzle him, or even give injection without a vet.....

Make he no go teach the rest to gang up against you

ok thanks for your contribution.i thinks it's the sweetness of the stew that made her over excited and she bit my finger... I searched online .I was told some.symptoms of rabies which I haven't seen in them but man gas dey careful...

On a serious note so how do I instill eating from my hands freely,hands in mouth or plate etc without being bitten

Feed the dog from your hands... taking food directly from the same plate they are used to..

Also...When u want to give them food in their usual plate...don't take plate into the house and bring the food out... Instead bring the food out and dish to into their plate in their presence, introducing your hands into the plate ...

Try to Withdraw the plate from them to add more food....this will gradually get them used to not seeing u as a threat around their food...

Repeat it for a many days... U go dey alright
