Pls gurus in the house, how can one know his application status, its 2months since biometrics was done, and nothing has been heard from the agent, all he says is"no update yet". Is there anyother way one can know his status.all i have here are the papers i collected after the biometrics was done.

2months Its very rare to get update after 2 months except you are renewing your visa or you have a valid US Visa. Usually the waiting time is from 4 months and above.

- Look for your UCI and application number in the paperwork you claimed you have with.

- Use it to register for Application Status Tracker.

- After registration, sign in to check the status

To login is a big challenge because the agent did not disclose login details with me.

USA is the best for non immigrant the day you enter you can work peacefully, but there's no how you can get paper without married a citizen

oluayebenz:

Good job?

Enter via student visa, get certificate and hope for the best.... Na 50 50.
Securing LMIA job after study is even hard.

I don't understand the media hype about Canada sef.
USA, UK and some European countries dupe pass Canada honestly.

But if we keep talking, we might be tagged as enemy.

For those japping with visit visa,,, all I can say is all the best o 🚶🚶🚶

It has surely ended in praise !

I was here about four weeks ago inquiring on the new portal. Well, Passport Request has landed for my folks. Thanks everyone

Visitors visa application was for my dad, mum and brother in a family application.
Previous visa approved 2018
Applied in August 2021 but no response or feedback or update
Reapplied in new portal March 17th
Completed webform to cancel previous application
Passport Request - April 13th
Dad and mum are retired
Brother is in masters program in a Nigerian University
I am a Canadian Citizen

I wish everyone applying all the best, don't give up!

Hello Deebla, hope you're doing great? Do you still live at Edmonton? If yes, do you know of any available one or two bed accommodation?

I hope this doesn’t affect that of Lagos, or why is emergency center now transferred to Ottawa rather than Lagos.

To be comfortable most especially if you are 1st time Visa applicant,CAD$7000 should be ok. It can be more but not less
