Poor programming. How on earth is a man and a box of vegetables similar? The company who made the machines should be sued for deploying a poor image processing model in their products. In this case, it is highly unethical

robots cannot do everything humans can do. They have visual limitations In certain complex and even non complex scenarios and cannot self recheck/diagnose and correct their mistakes in real-time based of the ongoing situation.

u have to setup a separate program for that. most likely after the incident and damage has already occurred

There is a flaw in the design of the robot.

Ideally all robots and machinery used in the manufacturing process should have an automatic kill switch which cuts off power to the robot once it's pressed

Apart from the kill switch, it supposed to have a Ldr or sensor to sense if it is human, and the program has ti be written for better behavior, like the one of car, that sense human

It is quite unfortunate. RIP

And Sunak said they would enact some regulations to ensure humans can still get jobs in some areas but Musk said to the PM face.......

UK, US, China, Russia and other western nations pretend to regulate AI but underneath they are all working tirelessly to be the first to carve a niche for AI in their respective markets. This meeting happened this week.

The future looks bleak as I wonder what humans will be doing when machines can do everything . And in a capitalistic world, machines will always get the job.
