OwnGoal reports that Peseiro has selected four players for the top striker's role to be made public when the list is out on Friday. They include Victor Boniface, Taiwo Awoniyi, Sadiq Umar and Terem Moffi.

Gift Orban and Jerome Akor are on standby in case of injury

Do you think 🤔 objectively 🗣️ speaking that Ndidi is better than Yves Bissouma ❓

From my POV, I think Bissouma offers more than Ndidi but we see things differently.

Bissouma looks more athletic and is composed on the ball however Ndidi carries more threat in front of goal.

He also has good ball playing skills. And yes Ndidi does have cannons in his boots.

Musa has no club as we speak, hasn't started a single league game for Sivasspor much less making the bench this season... is he injured or frozen out by the club? it will be a travesty if a club-less player makes the AFCON squad (quota system or not), that's just unacceptable and serious minded Nigerians who want transparency in our football will have to protest massively against such criminal inclusion.

As for Sadiq, the only reason he will make the final squad over better players like Akor Adams is just dangerous Northern tribal politics in our football...the guy is a very awkward player with no finesse to his game. Surely there are better players than Sadiq in the North.

How many has Boniface scored? Missing chances is acceptable when you score more than you miss. Your conversion rate as a striker is important

Exactly what I was thinking, he's a really good player and his tweets are funny and all but there has to come a time when he should start focusing more on his football especially his finishing and stop the tweeter bants for now...some of the chances he misses are simply embarrassing for a top striker. Good thing he's still young and has all the time to get better but he really needs to work harder on his finishing.

I wonder why Jpes is keeping a blind eye towards this guy. He is good enough to claim one spot in that SE CB position. He always have good presence of mind which is lacking in some of our CB's.

Don't be surprised the lazy Portuguese coach does not know about him

I don't rate that Coach at all when it comes to scouting and tactics
