What if the dollar crashes to 800naira?

Then you buy more, average down and hold. Long term, Naira will always lose against the dollar.

Buying more might be a very big risk, from the information I got from an impeccable source, FG wants to digitise dollar in Nigeria. Like turn into crypto form to curb hoarding and speculation. Hoarders and speculators are the major reasons why the rate is astronomically high. This policy is likely to be implemented next year.

I will stop buying as from next year to see how it goes

Indriver is the new gold mine. If you know how to use it, you will make stressless cash. And when there is surge on Bolt, you will double money with ease. But it has is own disadvantages too

I drive Toyota Camry muscle. It's almost the same thing with big daddy. It's for experience drivers who know how to maximize profits in this perilous time of our Economy not for newbies who wants to start this business afresh.

That's why I didn't include it
Oh well, I agree.

Much respect, sir. smiley

You can register with Bolt, you will get enough trips, but most likely far distance request nowadays, if you decline too much. Your account might end up blocked cheesy

The only reason it's still at this rate is because CBN is seriously defending it on the I&E
window. You can only speculate on a scarce commodity. It is high because CBN has no dollar to meet demand not because of speculators. The people hoarding it know CBN has no dollars to permanently force down the price.

Long term, the naira will always lose till they are ready to turn around the country. Funny enough, they have even borrowed the future earnings from NNPC which is the primary source of Fx to defend the naira.

I'm not seeing any sign of seriousness to stabilise the naira beyond lofty promises.

grin grin grin

I will lick my wound and accept my fate. No Biggie! grin

But I make informed decisions, dollar will get to 1200 -1300 by December. With that alone I don make cool 200k and above.

Yuletide season, there is always a high demand for FX. You dont need a financial analyst to tell you this.

Are you sure of this your last statement? I'll rather assume that yuletide season usually witness alot of INFLOW from people coming back home .I am expecting atleast 10 of my guys/family and they usually come loaded, atleast to show off!! Usually with alot of INFLOW like that, dollar is expected to crash a little or atleast remain stable..My thought!!! Who is looking for dollar in December?

Lexus ES300 is not a suitable car for the hustle.

1. It's 3.0 litre engine. It will consume more fuel, not fuel economical

2. It's 70 litre fuel tank. U go buy fuel taya. full tank na 42k, Half tank 21k.

3. Lexus part are very expensive. One small damage will swallow your 3 months earning on Bolt and leave you with nothing to save.

4. It will take you 6years to recoup your investment. By that time the car fit don quench before the time reach to reap the fruit of your labour

5. Lexus ES300 is too big to navigate the nooks and crannies of bad roads of lasgidi. Danfo, okada and keke will scratch your car easily. They will dent your car. You can't navigate Bad road easily with big cars like ES300.

Solution:

You need a compact car like Toyota Corolla, Toyota Yaris, Toyota Matrix. These are the 3 best for this business. They are rugged, strong, reliable and easy to maintain. And fuel efficient
Lol... ES300 is just a basic car as the Camry, asides from it been the luxury version.

Big engine? Yes. That's all about it. There are people who use V6 Camry on the job and they are surviving.

To the person that asked, if it's your car and the only choice available right now, use it. Provided the car is in good condition, you will do well this period.

P.S whatever happens during the winter period, my hand no they that one.

But that's how it usually is and ought to be but this one everything about the country is upside down maybe climate change will affect it, from my little experience dollar usually crash during December periods.

Close shop.

Dollar may still go up or down. Nothing real about this economy, they are just politicking. As long as we don’t have anything we are producing, our ostentatious craving and Jakpa/foreign school is still on the high side with low or nothing to export. Naira will continue to see shege, but buying dollars for December? Well! Make we deh look. Like Charly boy show, anything can happen.

I doubt if people still uses V6 engine car for this job, they will never make any profit after commission, infact, they will run on loss...

The people that are still using V6 are the OGs. The Old drivers on the platform. Any newbie that tries such will be working for filling station and the app coys. It requires huge experience to make profit with V6 cars at 600 fuel per litre.

They won't run on loss, maybe a newbie in the hustle. Only an abused V6 consume fuel excessively.

Nov is not Dec.. anything can happen within 3 weeks. It’s all about knowing when to cash in and cash out. Even we don’t get to feel Dec heat till when the month is getting to mid.

Just go and get yourself a 1.2 - 2.0 litre engine car to save yourself alot of stress. That's the wisest thing to do now
